Here are some safety messages from NTES Abo...riginal Liaison Officers in Arrernte and Luritja. They say people shouldn’t leave community once the rain starts, and tell people where they should go to get the latest information.

I am sad to leave but happy Ellie will be here to work with you mob. I have another family I need to spend time with now. Everyone please come down to the shop at 10 am when we'll be announcing the winners. But it's not just about who wins. Efforts like this are an example of the community spirit Ltyentye Apurte has. It brings a smile on everyone's faces and it was lovely driving around with all the other families last night looking at everyone's displays. Large or small. Merry Christmas!!
