21.01.2022 George's VK back on the dyno today for a little turn-me-up after he had Wayne from Performance Carb Tuning carry out a little off season freshen up which turned... into a rework of the whole twin turbo setups plumbing thanks to Lurch's Custom Fabrications! The same stock alloy L98 block remains, along with the same stock LSA crankshaft, Molnar rods and Wiseco 4.005" pistons, though this time the block is grout filled to the bottom water pump ports. The unported 5364 L98 heads got a freshen up and the same Full Proof Performance hyd roller camshaft was put back to work along with the old trusty factory LS3 intake manifold! The Precision 6266's we retained for another go at it though they are now mounted down behind the bumper with Flowtech headers and custom hot pipes by LCF along with new 3.5" dump pipes now exiting behind the tyre. Lurch's work didnt start and finish there, the engine and transmission were also shifted back nearly 3 inches and custom mounts made to suit aswell as all new alloy intercooler pipework to and from the same Shearer Fabrications A2A intercooler which is now also shifted back so a new front bumper can be fitted. With the Holley ECU on this now upgraded from a HP (yes it ran 7.71@179mph on an HP) to a Dominator a second wideband o2 has been added along with some pre-cooler sensors and the headers have also been setup for EGT's. Onto the dyno today to run it in and turn it up we were happy to see it hit the 1300rwhp mark on only 1 more pound of boost to its previous 1215rwhp. Dom @ Audio Image carried out the necessary wiring... mods to stage the pumps and we went through and set it up in the Holley EFI software to do so. 19.01.2022 Leon's super cool 1948 Ford Mercury pickup truck came in for an EFI conversion to Holley EFI from his outdated Accel system that was previously fitted to the ca...r. We supplied a TerminatorX system including Holley's Dual Sync Distributor and the required sensors and had Dom @ Audio Image carry out the conversion. Once back in our hands we overhauled the fuel system by replacing all 400 series and 100 series rubber lines and fittings with none other than Speedflow Australia 200 series Teflon. With that done and the injectors flow tested and cleaned by Pro Flow Injector Servicing it copped a fresh set of plugs and onto the dyno for a full tune. The pickup runs a mild alloy headed BBC backed by a T400 and 9 inch diff punching out plenty of torque for a cruiser. 429rwhp@6700rpm on 98pulp! #streetbuilt #holleyefi #terminatorX #audioimage

14.01.2022 Korie's 2010 Camaro all finished up on the hub dyno last night! Korie came to us to get his camaro back together and running again after a 5 year break being off the road. With the help of STREETBUILT Racing to help piece together a new engine and engine management combo while retaining the ProCharger F-1A. They gave him some direction as far engine specs and selected a Cam Motion hyd roller camshaft to suit aswell as specced up a full Holley Dominator EFI system to control ...and monitor everything required. While Korie sorted out the engine side of things, We started to stripped the car of everything and were ready to start from scratch. Everything from full driveline fitup, complete rewire, full fuel system, trans lines, powersteering etc all in Speedflow Australia 200 series hose and fittings, electric power steering, cable throttle setup, the list goes on. Lundy Race Fab were given the job to complete all new intercooler pipework to suit using the previous Procharger 4" air to air unit. Rocky at LSX Powertrain built up the T400 to suit along with a TCE Torque Converter Engineering convertor to suit. The car 90% complete and ready to run the combo as it sits consists of the following... LS3 Block - 416ci Dragonslyer Crank Callies Rods JE Pistons MAST LS3 Heads Cam Motion Hyd Roller Holley Hi-Ram Procharger F-1A - Cog Belt Joe Blo Crank Support T/Cover LSX Powertrain T400 TCE Convertor 1250cc Injectors Warspeed indistries timing pointer and alt idler 2 x Walbro 460lph Intank Pumps Holley Dominator EFI Onto the dyno for some engine run-in we ended up doing a pulley change and spun the little F-1A a touch over its 74,000rpm rating by 7,200rpm giving us a max of 18psi. All in all its come out pretty strong given the combo and will do exactly what Korie wants and destroy tyres! 13.01.2022 Matt's LS1 GU Patrol came in to finish off his Holley EFI conversion after having Dom @ Audio Image remove the previous aftermarket ECU system and fit Matts sup...plied TerminatorX kit. From there we went through and rectified a few small issues with the setup along with some minor fuel system mods including fitting up his freshly serviced set of LS1 injectors from Pro Flow Injector Servicing. 06.01.2022 Finally On the dyno today with James's Blown and Mechanical Injected VZ SS ute with Holley EFI TerminatorX controlling ignition timing! Aaron from ADR Engines built 403ci LS combo. LY6 Iron Block, Dragonslayer Crank, Oliver Rods and CP Pistons with Trickflow 220cc Cathedral Heads and a custom hyd roller camshaft. All topped with a Littlefield Blowers 8/71 blower with JBR carbon hat ontop of a Shaun's Custom Alloy manifold. All lines were supplied by Cronic Customs using aerof...low kryptalon hose and fittings, 95L cell in the tray that feeds a 25L front mounted tank! Jeff from STREETBUILT Racing was in charge of setup of the Holley EFI! Ignition comes from an MSD Promag 12 with points box all controlled through the Holley ECU with the ECU also taking care of all datalogging inc 8ch EGT's aswell a 6.86" Pro Dash. The whole combo is backed by none other than a TCE Torque Converter Engineering convertor and Reid case glide with a standard 3.07 Diff! Before we started out rewiring the car we sent it to Mik Waters Fabrication to get a 6 point andra teched cage put it while we were at it and get it ready for when it gets a set of 275 Pro Radials! While the trans was out we supplied Duncan with a Holley EFI TerminatorX ECU kit which Dom from Audio Image installed. With the trans back in the car we fitted a fresh set of plugs and leads along with a few small fuel system changes before it was onto the dyno for a full tune!
