25.01.2022 With a heavy heart I have decided to close the doors on the Camden store at 5pm today. We didnt get to have our goodbye party or the big sale I had planned but it would be irresponsible for me to do so. Thank you to all our staff, teachers and most of all, our customers. 22.01.2022 Do not adjust your settings. This is the classically beautiful black, grey and white range Urban Farmhouse Gatherings from Moda. Lots of different shades of grey (not quite 50) that all play together nicely. You will find it in our Fabric/Just Arrived category.

14.01.2022 Belle Epoque by @dashwoodstudio is inspired by numerous visits to the Victoria & Albert Museum in London. Belle Epoque pays homage to the Art Nouveau and Arts and Craft movements. Nature inspired patterns in a rich modern palette give a contemporary twist to these timeless designs. These prints have many fussy cutting opportunities. 06.01.2022 Wishing my daughter Hollie and her husband Michael (Gordo) a very happy 5th wedding anniversary. For those of you who regularly visited our shop and miss Lindsay’s antics, this was her speech at the wedding reception. I never tire of it.

04.01.2022 Was thinking about an early night but then up popped the Divine Miss M, so now Im joining @barefootcrafter for #saturdaynightcraftalong

04.01.2022 2019 was my annus horribilis. It was a year of endings both professionally and personally. I was glad to see the back of it. My Mothers Parkinsons disease has progressed and she now needs my extra help. My Mother In Law had a stroke and is now immobile. I have been ill numerous times, feeling unbelievably tired and have had chronic pain in both feet. I have been struggling. I have now been diagnosed with Hashimotos disease and the its just Plantar Faciitis theory has ...turned out to also be arthritis. Standing for long periods of time in the shop is not the ideal situation. To try and deal with all this, a restructure of my business in necessary. With the end of our lease looming in April and after long discussions with my family, peers and doctor, we have decided to bring the shop home when the lease ends. We will be primarily an online shop only (this is how we started). Trading in our current premises will continue as normal until 9th April 2020. There will be opportunities for personal shopping after this date and more details will be available a little further down the track. All unused gift certificates will also remain current after this date. Classes will also continue up to the 9th April but as our wonderful teachers make their new plans, we will provide updates to students. There will be sales between now and then to reduce the stock levels as my house just isnt big enough for all that fabric! As I am NOT closing down and just changing the current format, please dont expect the latest fabric ranges to be on sale, however there will be lots of great bargains over the next couple of months.
