24.01.2022 Went out looking for orchids today (for about the 5th time this week) and wasnt disappointed. The display this year is stunning! This time I went with some fellow orchid enthusiasts from Perth then we came back to the Cafe for lunch and a milkshake. Gotta love working at a cafe.

Im filling in for Em during the days and seeing these two women work is making me feel bad. lol These women are machines in the Cafe and work so hard - they would put many to shame. 19.01.2022 Due to one of our gorgeous staff members being offered a full-time position elsewhere :( , we now have a casual position open. Aunty K is seeking a bubbly, friendly person for the Cafe to start as soon as is possible for some evening and some weekend day shifts ie Thurs/Fri nights, and Sat/Sun days. *Must be available and reliable for both evening and day shifts on weekends.* Experience preferred but not essential. Duties will include, but are not limited to - serving cust...omers, cash handling/eftpos machine, making coffees, cooking, cleaning, and waiting on tables. You will need to be reasonably physically fit as we get quite busy and sometimes dont stop. We offer old fashioned service with a smile, love our customers and see them as friends, so we are looking for someone who holds similar values when it comes to customer service. If this is you please call Aunty K on 0439 987 125 to arrange an interview. If there is no answer please try again a bit later as she will be in the kitchen cooking up a storm.

14.01.2022 Apologies for not advertising sooner, but I didnt know that Aunty K had made any meals this weekend until I got to work last night. She likes to keep me on my toes apparently. Tonight we will have some delicious Irish Guinness stew with potato bake & peas n corn. I had some last night so can definitely recommend.) 13.01.2022 This turned up on my fb this morning and I just love it. We have some people that come in when they are lonely and they know they will be able to have a friendly chat with any of us any time. Too many people are lonely these days, especially with all this physical distancing going on, and this is one of the reasons we love what we do here at Aunty Ks, because it can be a social outing for some who dont get much interaction these days. <3

11.01.2022 I just want to thank a few people for today. First of all thanks everyone for my birthday wishes. Second of all I want to thank Jazz, Stu and Trent for coming to my dads aid today after he had a bit of a car accident out of town. They all went above and beyond to help him out. And not to mention the staff at the hospital for seeing him right away and looking after him And last but not least I want to thank Aunty K for making my rather cruddy day special by surprising me wi...th a beautiful cake she made for me. At first I thought it was just another cat from a distance but as I got closer I realised it was an echidna.
