25.01.2022 "To engage with art, we have to be willing to be wrong, venture outside our psychic comfort zones, suspend disbelief, and remember that art explores and alters consciousness simultaneously." Jerry Saltz #auroraarttherapy #artismytherapy #engagewithart

15.01.2022 "Evidence shows that creative contributions depend on the breadth, not just depth, of our knowledge and experience. In fashion, the most original collections come from directors who spend the most time working abroad. In science, winning a Nobel Prize is less about being a single-minded genius and more about being interested in many things. Relative to typical scientists, Nobel Prize winners are 22 times more likely to perform as actors, dancers or magicians; 12 times more likely to write poetry, plays or novels; seven times more likely to dabble in arts and crafts; and twice as likely to play an instrument or compose music."

09.01.2022 Without art there is an incompleteness that nothing can overcome. Through correlation and efficient cooperation, artwork becomes a helping hand, a kind of connecting link that binds all subjects to it and makes every study at school more interesting and valuable.'

05.01.2022 If you are looking for some inspiration and motivation to jump into a Shining Biz and Life in 2016, this might just be the start you are looking for. Leonie Dawson has published this annual creative inspiration for a number of years now - and you can buy a copy to work through in 2016. She fully admits, she is not everyone's cup of tea - and I like that about her. Take her or leave her. Totally up to you... If you are interested, click on the link below and see what she has on offer. There is a package of multiple items, in both print and digital format - or you can buy elements individually. I bought it last year and have already ordered my copy for 2016. Let me know if you buy yourself a copy, I'd love to hear what you think... Oh, and so you know, if you use this link to buy your copy, I do get a % of the cost. Just so you know.

05.01.2022 "[Sacred space] is an absolute necessity for anybody today. You must have a room, or a certain hour or so a day, where you dont know what was in the newspapers that morning, you dont know who your friends are, you dont know what you owe anybody, you dont know what anybody owes to you. This is a place where you can simply experience and bring forth what you are and what you might be. This is the place of creative incubation. At first you may find that nothing happens there. But if you have a sacred place and use it, something eventually will happen." Joseph Campbell
