21.01.2022 Finally I’ve managed to get a video of the platypus in the dam. I’ve been trying for years. If I don’t have a camera the platypus will swim lazily past, if I have a camera - 5 seconds that’s it before it dives and is gone to surface again on the opposite side.... There are several platypus in the rivers and creeks around Geeveston including the Kermandie River which flows through town; after which the Platypus Walk is named.
