08.01.2022 Kadjin is a newly formed youth advocacy group that will offer funded professional development, yarning, healing, empowering, performance and other opportunities... for young Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander people. Along with Kobi and Zal, Khia’s role in Kadjin is to organise meetings. In her video, Khia talks about what Kadjin is, how she’s involved and how people have joined Kadjin for confidence, the chance to network and to be supported in their passions. We are looking to raise $25,000 by 30 January 2021 to deliver this project. Every $1 you donate will be matched by Creative Partnerships Australia’s Plus 1 matching funding program. This $1 will become $2 so we can raise $50,000 to help support this new initiative. To find out more and to donate: https://www.propel.org.au/kadjin
08.01.2022 Team - this time of the year we should be knee-deep in planning and program announcements for ACAF V3, February 2021. But with 2020 being the gift that keeps on giving and seeing that there are all sorts of cons going virtual these days I'm exploring options for what we can do online given that really, no one can tell us where we'll be in six months time. Certainly six months ago we didn't see being here. SO - I'm asking you - please give us your thoughts, best talks you've... seen online, great ways others are doing things, suggestions, and of course - cautionary tales of what not to do. Love to hear from you - and remember that we can go global . . . the possibilities are endless!!!
