11.01.2022 Today is #nationalcakedecoratingday This is a 3-tier cake that I made for my 50th (OMG 3 years ago now!). My hat goes off to professional cake decorators - this is your day to celebrate all of your hard work. I only had to make 1 cake and it took me weeks - the sugar flowers were all hand made by me and took days just to dry. These are Moth Orchids made from sugar paste. ... I also made the cake - I know I said 1 cake but there were actually 9 I think from memory- chocolate mud and 1 tier was a coconut cake so there was a different flavour in case anyone didn’t like choc mud.
