21.01.2022 Earlier this week, our members took some time to learn some proactive ways to keep their mental health on track. On Monday, Dr. Cobi Calyx came to BHPs Adelaide office to present "Mindfulness: strategies and practices". Dr. Cobi led discussions on physical and mental stressors and ways the human body responds to stress. After enjoying some lunch and smoothies provided by Foods for Life, the group was led through some meditation techniques leaving them feeling calm and relaxe...d. The participants left with strategies they could use in everyday life and the feedback we received for the event was positive! Thanks to our co-host WIMnet SA and our sponsors BHP and OZ Minerals. We hope everyone enjoyed the mindfulness event, and we hope to continue to host events like this that promote positive mental health strategies.
