Ms Jenner donated AUD$270,000 to the RFBAQ - Rural Fire Brigades Association Queensland Inc (RFBAQ) earlier this year, and was "honoured" that her donation was continuing to help the RFBAQ. The money donated was put towards the truck and digital bushfire mapping tablets that help firefighters navigate difficult terrain offline. 18.01.2022 Saw this floating around on the internet and we just had to share... what Aussie symbol would you put on the coin?

18.01.2022 Twelve months on from the devastating bushfires that swept Australia, the Royal Australian Mint is honouring the bravery and sacrifice of our firefighters by releasing a new commemorative coloured $2 coin. The design of the coins includes a stylised representation of two firefighters (male and female - as a symbol of the diversity within Australia’s firefighting ranks) standing back to back, with a coloured fire ball in the centre of the coin. The coins will be circulated through Australia's banks in coming weeks, and serve as an everyday reminder of the ongoing commitment of the nation’s firefighters and emergency service personnel to protect lives and property.

18.01.2022 The Australian Government is investing an additional $500m for COVID-19 vaccines in the Pacific and South East Asia. The $500m in new funding will assist with assessment of vaccine safety, efficacy and quality by national regulatory authorities, informed by World Health Organisation advice, and comes on top of the $23.2 million already committed. 16.01.2022 This may very well be the cutest thing you see today Did you hear, scientists in Australia have discovered 2 new species!? A possum-sized marsupial, known as the greater glider, has been found to be in fact 3 separate species. This adorable marsupial makes its home across a wide range of Australian bush, extending along almost the entire east coast, from Victoria in the south to the northern parts of Queensland. Being nocturnal, they sleep in hollowed-out trees during the day and set out at night, soaring up to 100m/330ft through the air, in search of their meal of choice: eucalyptus leaves More: https://www.theguardian.com//two-new-greater-glider-specie Josh Bowell
