04.01.2022 ** WE URGENTLY NEED YOUR HELP** Rusith Sakya is an 18 year old boy with Cerebral Palsy and Hypotonia. He lives in Sri Lanka. Until the 2nd of November 2018 he led a reasonable life with his parents and two brothers. his father was a hard working man and provided for the family whilst Rusith's mother was his official carer, looking after him around the clock. On the 2nd of November, their lives completely changed. His hardworking father committed suicide after a history of chr...onic depression. With no-one now to provide for the family and Rusiths mother unable to work due to being his carer, the family has made many changes to their lives in order to get through day by day. Lack of income has forced the family to move into a smaller dwelling with limited supplies that are vital for Rusith. Rusith requires extra large (childrens) diapers to help him throughout the day, an ongoing cost that his mother now struggles to fund. As a basic human right and to help him be as dignified as he can we are reaching out to all to help Rusith. We are sending a box of these diapers to Rusiths mother and are appealing for a donation. 04.01.2022 How to get around the Food & Farm Fest 2019! Here's look at the program guide, and map of this Sunday's event at Quarry Farm. This will also be available in... paper form at the Food & Farm Fest. Things to note: There is a FREE bus to travel around this quite large event space - take note of the bus stops indicated on the map, they are distributed in multiple convenient locations. Once you've parked, PUBLIC ACCESS to the event will occur through the gates at the Alpaca Area. Handicapped Parking is in ZONE C. Major Speakers Sabrina Hahn & Josh Byrne will both be speaking in ZONE D, in the RECEPTION building. Check the program for Sheep Shearing Demo, Pumpkin Rolling, and Speaker times. Raffle Tickets will be sold in the area PAST the Alpacas, as you head into the paddock of ZONE B, as well as in ZONE C, in the AUDITORIUM building. We're excited to see you in a couple days!
