25.01.2022 A early 2am start this morning with a fire engulfing sheds tractors cars and rubbish. Thanks to Muchea BFB, Lower chittering BFB, Gingin Fire and rescue and the Bindoon BFB team for getting this fire quickly under control in trying conditions.

23.01.2022 The AGM for the Bindoon Bush fire Brigade will be held on Wednesday 27th of May at 7.00pm. At this stage due to covid19 restrictions the meeting will be held online. If this changers then it will be at the station on Edmonds place Bindoon. Any queries please call the Captain on 0413249371.



22.01.2022 It’s been a busy week for the Brigade called out for 5 of the last 7 days. Thanks to all members who have given there time up over the Xmas break.

20.01.2022 A number of permits to burn have been issued for activities relating to primary producers around Bindoon. These permits have strict conditions. Permits for non agricultural burning are still restricted at this tine.

Come down and support your local Bush fire brigade and buy a $3 sausage sizzle and grab the kids a $1 lollie bag or just grab a drink for $2 and have a chat to our members.

16.01.2022 The Shire of Chittering has declared a Harvest, Vehicle Movement, Hot Works & Combustion Engines Ban from 10:00am until 6:00pm for Wednesday 05/02/2020. The ban will be reviewed throughout the day. DFES has declared a TOTAL FIRE BAN for the whole of the day. Please take care, prevent bush fires and stay safe. 14.01.2022 Please see below TFB declared - Due to the extreme weather forecast DFES are declaring a Total Fire Ban from Midnight tonight until midnight Sunday. All permits to burn are to be cancelled from Midnight tonight in line with the TFB please ensure all permit holders are contacted and advised. All currently burning fires are to be COMPLETELY EXTINGUISHED by midnight tonight. CBFCO

11.01.2022 A huge thank you to the Chittering Car Club and members for the fantastic donation to the Bindoon Bush Fire Brigade. We accepted the donation at there AGM along with the other captains. We will use this donation to help fund some extra equipment we require for operational jobs.

07.01.2022 Its been a busy week with the fire up at Bindoon-Moora Road. Thanks to all the crews from chittering and gingin on Wednesday for getting this fire under control and to all the Bindoon members our chief and deputy chief who have been mopping up over the Easter long weekend. Happy Easter

07.01.2022 some of our probationary members having their very first go and training at our running fire drill. Each appliance has a driver, a crew leader and firefighters on the back following a fire line and suppressing the fire (soccer ball) A very important skill to develop with drivers and their driving control and the firefighters controlling their pressure and aim of the fire The 2 appliances worked in unison and attempted to do a full lap of the oval. Well done team Bindoon BFB

01.01.2022 Bindoon Bush Fire Brigade Convid-19 Coronavirus operational directive from DFES Due to the Coronavirus situation the following changes will be taking place to our operating procedures at Bindoon until further notice.... - All training and meetings have been cancelled until further notice. - No public access to the station. - No public engagement activities. These measures are to protect our firefighters so we can still respond and provide the same level of emergency response that we have always provided Regards Bindoon Captain Peter Watterston
