11.01.2022 The Queensland Safety Reset is in full swing. Recent events in the Queensland Minerals Industry have once again brought Safety into sharp focus with 6 fatalities recorded in 12 months. Two expert independent reviews are now underway to identify changes needed to improve health and safety in the state’s mines and quarries. Naturally we expect that Mines Inspectorate visits will become more frequent and penalties for non-compliance will be enforced.
