Australian owned? Made from Australian made/sourced materials? Profits stay in Australia? Company Tax paid in Australia? Just a few questions. Lloyd Gaunt David Jones ... Yes we are an official Australian Made licence holder, every blind is custom made in everyone of my 10 factories, I am Australian born and started Aussie Outdoor in 2004, I have all my components made in Australia we only buy a couple of things from overseas because they are unable to be made in Australia at this stage,I have always made it a priority to support local business and keep profits in Australia, we only pay Australian taxes and all our staff are paid above award wages, I hope this meets your satisfaction and you are more than welcome to visit and inspect our factory for further clarification. Caravan Safety In the meantime n...ow is a great time to check the following: 1. Replace smoke alarm battery and unit is working 2. Check the battery in the brake control unit is working and in good condition (this is recommended to be renewed every 2 years) 3. Make sure fire extinguisher is in date and full (do you have a fire blanket)? 4. Check tail lights, wiring and plugs are all working, replace globes if required 5. Make sure gas bottles are in date, they should be no older than 10 years if they have not been tested 6. Check all exterior, interior lights and power points 7. Tyres - check all tyres have good tread and are legal with the correct pressure (when was the last time you had the electric brakes and bearings serviced)? 8. Do you have a first aid kit and has it been replenished? 9. Check you van for overall structure and check if any water damage is evident When was the last time you did a weight audit on your van and checked the ball weight. This is ultra important as police and insurance companies are clamping down in this area to ensure everyone is adhering to the latest towing rules.
