24.01.2022 Some people commented on the 'detail' I put in my work. I thought you might like to see a close up of part of the piece I'm working on right now. Nowhere near finished yet as I have a few more elements to add into the whole thing.

24.01.2022 'Precious Gift' No. 2 of 3 New Christmas card designs for 2020. Look out for No3, I think it is the best!

23.01.2022 They really do grieve I've seen this a few times and have wished most people could know this

23.01.2022 These little souls never fail to take my breath away. Here she is all 589g of Eastern Grey and I've just interrupted her grooming herself. How amazing that they groom themselves from such a ridiculously early age. Isn't life just perfect having the privilege of seeing these small wonders.

22.01.2022 'Santa's Little Helper' No 3 of 3 New Christmas card designs for 2020. It is my favourite! Christmas cards should be arriving in my store next week!

22.01.2022 Lost my mojo for a little while, but might be finding it again. This is the start of a much larger piece that I've been working on for a few weeks. I've still got a lot to do.

21.01.2022 "I know I must not suck my toe Mum, but if I lie here quietly I'm hoping you won't notice, I'm being good...kinda" Love Wee McFee x

21.01.2022 In the letter it says the developer will cull the 'already dwindling kangaroo population' this is so they can build new homes. I love this country so much.... but I'm gut wrenchingly ashamed of our government departments (DEWLP in this case). They will probably kill more kangaroos in one night than I've cared for and released back into the wild over the last 16 years. What is the point of carrying on.........

20.01.2022 I'm hoping this protest painting can go into an exhibition, can you help me with a title please? The only thing I can think of is "Icon or Dog Meat. Your Choice" Only 6 words max.

19.01.2022 I now have another small Keepsake Book of my work out. Introducing Capturing the Art and Soul of Wildlife 2.

18.01.2022 PLEASE SHARE THIS AND HELP TO CHANGE THINGS

17.01.2022 Every single day of your life, you gave me purpose, made me smile and filled my heart with love. Your special little soul enriched my life and for that I have no regrets. Run wild and free little one I loved you so very much my sweet Pacca. I'm so sorry I couldn't make it right.

16.01.2022 In memory of Bonita.....I couldn't make a difference to your life sweet little being and it breaks my heart. Sleep warm and safe little one.

14.01.2022 To say I'm overwhelmed is an understatement, this caused a LOT of happy tears. This arrived at my door from the Animal Rescue Craft Guild after someone nominated me to receive some joey bags (I can't sew to save my life). The love, care and workmanship that has gone into all of the bags and pouches that have been made OMG!!! And someone even sewed a little heart motif on some of the pouches. Fills my heart with happiness. The medical supplies you also included are invaluable and I cannot thank you all enough #craftguild #petbarnfoundation

14.01.2022 To all my wonderful Aussie Critter friends and supporters. May you be inspired by giving, changed by love, filled with peace, and touched by miracles, now and throughout the coming year. Sam x

13.01.2022 And then there were TWELVE! Just have to add the new growth now.

13.01.2022 My latest orphans in Western Australia, Casper, Summer and Maverick. Spotting their Dad doing the watering. Awwww

10.01.2022 If you send Christmas Cards what would you prefer to send in the future?

10.01.2022 Happy 10th Birthday my beautiful girl, Giverny. Thank you for all these years of devotion and unconditional love you've given us. Although you must stop bouncing around like a one year old when we go out for walks

09.01.2022 Slow Reveal we are up to 8 kangas so far if you are counting......

08.01.2022 I wish everyone could truly believe these are sentient and loving beings who should be honoured Australian natives.

08.01.2022 I NEED A TITLE folk. This is what I'm working on right now as I sit camping 1hr north of Alice Springs. A small gift goes to the winning suggestion.......I like quirky Critique also welcome, as you know...... I 'don't do' birds!

07.01.2022 WHOOPS! Sorry, apparently there is a difference between self-isolation and quarantine, even though what you have to do is exactly the same. I'm actually in QUARANTINE.

06.01.2022 We have just travelled by road from Camooweal to Alice Springs 1000km. No kangaroo carcasses to be seen, not a single one. Now camped on a station 130kms NW of Alice Springs. When I was last here in 2005 there were plenty of kangaroos to be seen. Roo poo absolutely everywhere. Today, nothing...... no signs they are here at all. Locals also say they aren't here any more. If you can't see a kangaroo in the wild out here, what hope is there? See the statue below (not mine) obviously sculpted by someone who has never seen one, or researched them in any way (chest nipples??????). If the government keeps handing out killing permits no one will know what they really look like.

04.01.2022 This is part of a piece I'm working on of a mob of greys, the most complicated painting I've ever attempted. PLEASE NOTE: If anyone is thinking about Christmas gifts from my Aussie Critters online shop please order early as I will be closing during November whilst I relocate. So sorry for the inconvenience

04.01.2022 .....almost finished my time. Still working on this, I don't seem to be getting the head right. Not sure what to call it. 'MUM?' or 'Is that my bottle?'

01.01.2022 Aussie Christmas cards are in stock now in my store... a pack of 5 designs $20 + p&p $4. LIMITED supplies this year due to relocation, so don't miss out

01.01.2022 After all the fires and all those donations from other countries to help our wildlife recover. I am so ashamed. Harvested for pet food......how utterly disgusting.

01.01.2022 I just want to thank all the people that recently made bags for our Aussie orphaned wildlife during the bush fires down south. Even though I'm not in a fire zone some of the surplus reached me this week for my orphans. I can't begin to tell you how grateful I am. In fact when I saw the bags I'd been given it made me cry as mine were so tatty. I can create paintings, but I can't even sew a button on. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Some bags I've got came from the UK, really beautiful and these two can't wait to grow into them.

01.01.2022 'SURPRISE!' 1 of 3 New Christmas card designs for 2020.
