24.01.2022 South Australia Covid Update: Please find following an update with notifications we have received from event attendees: An athlete who competed in session 3 & 4 (Saturday) & session 6 (Sunday) attends a school (Holy Family Catholic School) with a student who is considered (but not confirmed) infectious, based on their contact with a confirmed case of coronavirus (COVID-19). Please note: It is not the athlete that is considered infectious, it is a student at the same s...chool. A spectator in session 6, 7, & 8 (Sunday) has found out that she is a close contact with someone who is presumed positive and considered contagious and is now isolating. An athlete in session 5 (Saturday) has been told to isolate by their school (Thomas More College) after a student tested positive. An athlete in session 6 & 7 (Sunday) has been told to isolate by their school (Roma Mitchell School) due to a confirmed case at the school. As previously mentioned, SA Health are advising: Monitor your own health and if you show any signs of Covid-19, then it is important to get tested. Please note: Health SA are recommending you only get tested if you are showing flu like symptoms. You DO NOT need to self isolate/quarantine unless contacted by SA Health (this would be via txt message based on contact tracing from Ticketmaster) It is recommended that travel out and about is limited until further advised. In summary, we have not had any reports of positive cases at the SA Championships. Stay safe and please do not hesitate to contact us if you know of any further connections.

17.01.2022 To our Cheerleading Family The situation involving the COVID-19 pandemic is constantly evolving which is creating challenges for everyone. We would like to let the Australian cheerleading community know that we are here for you and are remaining positive. We have received a number of enquiries regarding our events for 2020. We can confirm that we have cancelled our 'Showcase' event in Rockhampton which was scheduled for 27/28 June. At this stage, we are committed to runnin...g all other events in 2020. We will continue to monitor the guidelines by the Australian Government and will make any necessary adjustments if the restrictions are still in place by the time our season starts. Please be assured that if any Aussie Gold events are cancelled, we will refund full entry fees. We will keep you up to date with any changes to our calendar as the latest developments are released. Our priority is the safety of the athletes and the viability of clubs. We would like all gym owners to know we are here for you and will do as much as possible to support you in these unprecedented times. We know Clubs are all doing their best to keep their athletes safe and applaud the important role they play in providing fitness and support to their members. We will get through this together. 02.01.2022 It was fantastic to see all the athletes enjoying themselves at the SA Championships. Many of you may be worried about the Covid situation in SA and we wanted to ensure you that we will keep you up to date with any information we hear based on your attendance at the event. Firstly, we have not received any information that there are any cases of Covid that attended the event. We have been made aware that an athlete who competed on Saturday (session 3 & 4) & Sunday (Session ...6) attends a school with a student who is considered (but not confirmed) infectious, based on their contact with a confirmed case of coronavirus (COVID-19). Please note: It is not the athlete that is considered infectious, it is a student at the same school. Contact with the athlete and student has not occurred, however we are acting on the side of caution to inform you of this and to pass on the following information from Health SA: Health SA have requested everyone to monitor your own health and if you show any signs of Covid-19, then it is important to get tested. Please note: Health SA are recommending you only get tested if you are showing flu like symptoms. You DO NOT need to self isolate/quarantine unless contacted by SA Health (this would be via txt message based on contact tracing from Ticketmaster) It is recommended that travel out and about is limited until further advised. As mentioned above, this is a precaution so please monitor your health and get tested if you have any flu like symptoms. We would also like to advise that our staff have safely returned interstate and have returned negative test results. Please contact us if you have any further concerns. The hours will be approximately 8am-7pm (please note some events may start or finish earlier/later). VIC Event July 25th & 26th... WA Event August 8th & 9th Brisbane Event August 22nd & 23rd Adelaide Event September 4th-6th Townsville Event October 17th Gold Coast Event 30th Oct Nov 1st VIC Event November 21st & 22nd Role Description As the Event Photographer you will produce high-quality images of athletes in cheer and dance. Your working hours will vary and may be outside of normal business hours, including weekend work, early morning and evening work. Responsibilities - Work independently to photograph selected events - Coordinate with the Marketing team to deliver required images to a deadline - Other photographic tasks as negotiated Selection Criteria - Ability to independently produce and delivery high-quality images - Strong communication and time management skills - Positive attitude and ability to work well with others - Must have own equipment (camera, laptop) and good computer skills - Prior experience with event photography We would love to hear from you if you have experience in this and available (and flexible) around the approximate time/dates listed above.
