21.01.2022 Footprint Painting is a wonderful opportunity for children to learn. Children learn cause and effect when they see that their feet are making prints on the paper. They learn tactile and sensory skills from touching the paint and feeling how paint feels on their skin and in between their toes. #lifelonglearning #havingseriousfun #affinityeducation

06.01.2022 What a beautiful gift from a lovely family who we will miss dearly next year as they move off to big school. These beautiful hand painted rocks are now placed in our front garden where everyone can admire them. Thank you Jodi. They are wonderful! Your kind words have not gone unnoticed We appreciate them!

04.01.2022 PREPARING FOR BIG SCHOOL!!! As part of our Transition to School program we are having 2 Lunch Box days for the Kangaroo Children on Monday 30th November and Thursday 3rd December. In preparation we created a menu for the children to decide what they wanted to eat. Children who were able to independently wrote their names against their preferences whilst children still developing this skill were supported by their Educator.... This experience offers the children the chance to have a go at using a lunch box at Lunch time, practicing skills such as their fine motor strength and coordination in opening their lunch. It also allows us to engage in meaningful discussions about ensuring we don't eat everything at one, because at school we need to ensure we have enough left for the rest of the day. During our experience to day the children were able to make decisions in areas that affected them, become involved in preparing for the day and explore the importance of literacy by either writing their names or being supported by their Educator to include their names. #AussieKindiesNiagaraPark #lifelonglearningcentre #confidentandinvolvedlearners #FoundationalLearning #IAmReadyForBigSchool #SchoolTransitionProgram2020
