25.01.2022 The recent sculpture we have been working on has made the front page of the local paper. Old Bill is a Corten and stainless pelican mounted on one of the original Old Mandurah bridge uprights, stands 2.2 metres high and weighs in at about 160 kg made in collaboration with local artist Emma Blyth. Some progress pics with Tyson over the 4 weeks to make him which started as a concept sketch to scale model to actual piece.

25.01.2022 A lot of "Reynolds" in this counter at Nuo's Grapes in West Swan. My cabinet maker brother Allan made the counter getting my boiler maker son Shane to weld the steel framework and this morning I called in and fitted the grape vine we made for Jenny. 24.01.2022 As if life's not tough enough giving up your time volunteering to save our native birds and wildlife Selina awoke yesterday at River Wren Rescue in Stakehill to discover someone had stolen her eagle with an arrow pointing to the entry we made for her only a few months ago. You do great work Selina and your helpers, thanks and hopefully this replacement eagle helps negate some of the bad others have brought you. 24.01.2022 We've been working with Brett on these scale Holden HQ Monaro coupes which are about 600mm long. The prototyping is now done on the HQ 2 door and we've just cut the first 5 sets out so now we're offering these first 5 to the first 5 purchasers at $550 each which is well below what they will be to get some out there and seen. This one here is actually number 002 and ready to go. We will have it on display this weekend at our Swan Valley shop at Albion on Swan 8990 West Swan Ro...ad, West Swan. 23.01.2022 Water connected and smiles all round. There were a few sleepless nights in the planning on this one. Thanks to Paul at Peelscape Solutions in Mandurah for having the confidence in me to come up with something I thought his customer would like to fit in with their major landscape project. We threw a few ideas around and we made up a scale model of what I had in mind, Paul liked the concept and gave the go ahead and until today he hadn't seen the finished article and until they... mounted it on the blocks the customer had no idea of what was planned. We didn't have enough water at the workshop to run it so today was the day. To say I'm happy with how it turned out is an understatement and also full credit to Tyson for his work and enthusiasm to see this one through. His first major project and a job well done. The flower itself is water driven to rotate slowly and is made from corten steel with the sprinkler head fabricated in 316 stainless for contrast, it's 2.7 metres in diameter and stands in water 1350mm deep and weighs about 280kg and sits cntral in the 16 metre wide lake. #aussieplasmacutting #peelscapesollutions #corten #waterfeature #lotusflower #metalart #mandurah See more

10.01.2022 The latest sculpture we have been working on with renowned local artist Emma Blyth. I love Emma's painting style. Her use of vibrant colors and wide brush strokes captures the essence of her subject and instantly brightens any area adding a feeling of warmth and happiness. We have worked with Emma before to take her images into another medium but this is the first to also truly make her design dimensional, I hope you love "Old Bill" as much as we do. The whole process from start to finish with myself, Tyson Peck and Emma Blyth has been seamless and rewarding for us all. A special thanks and praise to Tyson, fantastic job.
