24.01.2022 Its been an enourmous week for us this week for us. We received a record number of orders this week in just 24 hours after reopening our website. We will be doing our last post office run and sending out all the tracking numbers tomorrow. All orders received after cut off will be sent out next week. As predicted we have now sold out on quite a few items on the website, but we will have a few extras to add in the coming weeks. Thankyou to all our amazing customers. For your continued support

23.01.2022 Such a pretty box off to its new owners today this is one of our 35 mixed succulent packs. This was the first time we offered these and they sold out really quickly, so we will work on making heaps more of these ready for spring. Unfortunately we had a power outage all day today and when it came back on at 3:30 we didnt quite get all our Express labels posted in time. If the address isnt entered in perfectly by the customer at the checkout its rejected by Australia post so we have to go in and manually add it which takes much longer so Im just working through that error file now and those parcels will be posted tomorrow.

22.01.2022 Last trip To the post office for the week Its been our busiest week yet and we are all a little exhausted but things should start to settle down now that Mothers Day has passed. Thanks again to everyone for their ongoing support We will send out the tracking numbers later this evening.

20.01.2022 The new growing tunnels will be here early next week!!! The site is almost dome so they will go straight up. So excited for these because we have really had to ramp up the propagation this year due to the huge increase in demand so they will be full in no time. Once these are done we will be moving on to the huge new shed thats going up which will be our new retail area. Hopefully it will be ready early next year depending in how long council take

20.01.2022 A huge thankyou to all of our amazing customers for your support over the past couple of months, to say that we have been busy would be a huge understatement. We have decided to take a short break from online sales so that we can do a complete EOFY stocktake and update the website. We have just been too busy over the past couple of months to do our regular updates and we have lots of new stock that we havent had time to add yet. We also need to move stock around in preparati...ons for the really cold weather headed our way. All current orders will still be processed as normal, we just wont be taking any new orders for a little bit. We are hoping it only takes a week or two but feel free to join our mailing list (via our website) and you will be the first to know when we are back up and running again. Once we sell out of all of the new stock, we wont be restocking again until spring. Our suppliers are all in a much warmer climate than us here (near Canberra) so we dont want the poor plants to go into shock. 16.01.2022 Finally got the last of our mail orders out today 4 straight days of packing (and until midnight 3 of the 4) Its not often that we have to pack Wednesdays as well but even with the stock on our website being so low we still had one of the biggest weeks ever Im almost scared to say this but we will be doing a restock of the website tomorrow and we actually have quite a few goodies going up so I dare say we will be in for another busy week next week In other excit...ing news, I have been doing some behind the scenes work and playing with the new label printer. I have managed to create a unique barcode for all of our many varieties of succulents and will be able to scan them into our new POS software which will make our Open days and Market days so much easier. We have been getting lots of enquiries about when we are having our next open days/market days. At this stage we dont have any pencilled in as we have been absolutely flat out with the online sales, but we will be doing our best to get the shop area restocked (and everything priced and labelled properly) as soon as we can. 11.01.2022 Warning not succulent related !! Packing today has been interrupted by the birth of this little guy. Unfortunately mum was very distressed as baby was well and truly stuck so I had to help deliver him. Poor little poppet couldnt have picked a more miserable day to make his way into the world I really want to bring him inside and warm him up, but mum is already filthy with me Fortunately these guys are such resilient little creatures and being born in the middle of winter means that in 6-8 weeks time when they start to nibble on grass, it will be spring and hopefully there will be plenty of yummy green grass to munch on. Now I have to drag my butt back to the shed to keep packing

10.01.2022 Our online store has been restocked and we are now accepting online orders again. Cut off for delivery next week is 9pm tonight (Thursday) We have already received a huge number of orders overnight so some things are already sold out. Unfortunately due to the national shortage accross the nursery industry many varieties wont be available again until late spring but we will continue to update products where we can.

08.01.2022 The new label printer arrived this week and I have finally managed to work out how to use it so there will be an added bonus for everyone that placed online orders this week!!!! Over 600 labels printed this morning for the orders going out this week yikes. Now I have to get to packing them all

07.01.2022 We had been planning a open day for next Saturday and had been waiting for the weather forecast to confirm. At this stage it is looking unlikely that it will happen and even worse news is that we dont have another available weekend for an open day until possibly November. We will check the weather again early next week in hopes that the forecast changes The good news is that we will be commencing building works in the new shop soon and weather will no longer play a role because it will all be under cover

07.01.2022 Love my chubbies !!!! I have these Lavender pebbles growing under 70% for extra frost protection shade so they are a little lighter pink than usual but golly gosh they are getting big!!! They are about 3 years old now and earlier in the season we took a number of babies to propogate. They should be ready to go in the next month or so if we get some nice weather.

07.01.2022 One of these days I might get around to actually planting this terrarium out. I have been collecting and chucking all these plants into the old fish tank inside, some have survived and others haven’t been so happy in there particularly the desert roses but at least I know what will work and what won’t

05.01.2022 Its been a super busy couple of weeks but we are almost ready to open the website up again. We got a little sidetracked property hunting and have hopefully secured some lovely acres on the south coast that we can retreat to during the winter months. Last year we just closed up shop for 3 months, because its just too cold here to be outside. Usually trade completely drops off which has suited us fine, however not this year. Its been the complete opposite and those that ...know me, know I cant stand the cold More exciting news We are also in Process of lodging plans to council for our huge new 500m2 greenhouse/sales area. For those that have been our to the farm it takes up the entire cleared area (currently the car park) This will include an heated indoor packing area and a completely covered sales area which will be even bigger than our current area so that we can continue to trade through winter next year without freezing our tooshs off So please bear with us while we get everything organised behind the scenes. We expect to be back up and running again next week. Ps how lovely are the success looking this time of year See more

03.01.2022 Last post office run for the week So relieved to finally have finished packing for the week. Tomorrow we have lots of sorting to do and then we start all over again on Friday picking for next weeks orders. Will send out all tracking numbers later this evening.

02.01.2022 A sneaky last minute shopping trip to Melbourne this week. Wow you can really see the impact COVID 19 has had on the nursery industry, hardy anything available at all of our usual suppliers and given hardly anything is growing at the moment they probably wont have new stock until late spring. On a positive note I managed to pick up some great display sized plants for a garden I have in mind and we also went to see the collectors corner display which was absolutely spectacular!! Feels really weird coming home with room still in the van, normally its absolutely jam packed
