13.01.2022 This is an experiment: wide hollow form (pretty challenging to hollow) with a fancy opening, a relief rim and an airbrushed detail.

12.01.2022 Last year I made quite a few Giant Pepper Mills. A couple of them ended up at the North Bondi Fish restaurant: they seem to enjoy using them. They have become a conversation breaker with customers. This year I added the Midi Pepper Mill between the Regular one and the Giant.

10.01.2022 I just finished my first lamp. It's a carved through stump of NSW Rosewood with a cool LED light in the middle. I am interested in opinions. Come and see this piece and many others to the Southern Highlands Arts Trail on 7-8 and 14-15 November next. Southern Highlands Arts File

10.01.2022 Here is something I have been working on for over one year! The design is mine but the original idea for this kind of piece comes from early work by Rolly The Legend Munro and his "Ventricular" piece. The wood is Camphor Laurel. The two large pieces are turned from the same block of wood (please check the grain). The big spike is IN-ONE-PIECE with the "bum". Only the central "booster" was made with an extra piece of wood. Needless to say, I'll never make another one!

10.01.2022 "Wrinkles" hollow form with a twist and .. a few wrinkles

09.01.2022 I consider this Bat Bowl my signature piece. Here is a brief sequence of the making of one. This one was made in Huon Pine. Come and see my at the Southern Highlands Art Trail Southern Highlands Arts File in November.

04.01.2022 Made with a very old piece of NSW Red Cedar picked up as driftwood on a river near Coffs Harbour many years ago.
