19.01.2022 125 Murray St is an artful refurbishment by Cox Architecture, breathing new life into a nine-storey CBD building which previously had low levels of natural ligh...t and no real connection with the city outside. The curved bronze Kaynemaile screen offers an aesthetic element to the surrounding area of rich, textural materials in the lift lobby. The project was the winner of the Ross Chisholm and Gil Nicol Award in Commercial Architecture at the 2020 WA Architecture Awards. It also received a Commendation in The WA Lighting Award. Initially designed with a rigid metal panel in mind it soon became apparent that the traditional rigid material lacked the fluidity the designers needed.

03.01.2022 Project: Hotel lobby flower lamp scupltures. Specified by: Interior Treasures. Acrylic Couture Design: Opera Tremolo Gold (custom design). Acrylic Couture offers the creative versatility to design a unique application that suits the project requirements.The extensive pattern and colour selection also provides a varied choice of featured materials, particulates and hues to select from. The option of a custom design is also possible. This Acrylic Couture pattern design was created specifically for this application in a luxury hotel lobby in Qatar. The designer envisioned grand sculpted flower petals that made a statement in the open lobby space. The softly curved Acrylic Couture flower petals have a golden shimmer and are illuminated by LED lighting to create a dramatic design statement.
