08.01.2022 Ok! Holidays are over, so time for some clever engineering and maintenance procedures. One person transmission removal and reinstallation. Note special tool: Guide Dowels for removing and refitting transmission to avoid damaging converter seal. This also makes it easier for a one person operation. About 1 hour for one person and substantially shorter with 2 mechanics. Although the T72 box can be manhandled from its position we recommend two mechanics, and, or, at the very least jacks or hoists to support the transmission.
