24.01.2022 Certified organic white tea Young buds and the very first unopened leaf rich in polyphenols, makes up our white peony tea. Once plucked - and often with white cotton gloves worn - the shoot will be left to wither, dry and oxidise slowly and naturally whilst drying. White tea can be infused several times in a row because of this method, as the essential oils are preserved. Always brew below 80 degrees! For a summer tea - infuse cold overnight and add diced peaches for a delicious iced tea

19.01.2022 Meadowsweet has a long and distinguished history of medicinal use and is mentioned in some of the most famous literary works of the middle ages. It was one of the three herbs held to be most sacred by the Celtic druids and was used to flavour mead - hence the name. Health benefits include: pain relief due to a rich content of salicylic acid, digestive aid, anti-inflammatory, immune system support, astringent, natural insect repellent and disinfectant. In 1897, the German drug company Bayer synthesised salicin based on meadowsweet; the new drug was named Aspirin derived from the old botanical name for meadowsweet.

18.01.2022 Hops - Humulus lupulus Whilst the botanical name sounds like something out of Harry Potter, and the dried petals are a primary ingredient in beer - Hops is a humble (and slightly smelly) herb with many therapeutic benefits (unlike beer). Traditionally used to treat: Insomnia IBS... Fluid retention PMS + menopause Fever Anxiety Intestinal worms Digestive upset See more

15.01.2022 Organic Peppermint, Chamomile. Fenugreek, Licorice root for a calm, happy nervous and digestive system. A wonderful mum and bub tea

14.01.2022 Maitake / Hen of the woods / Dancing mushroom "Maitake" means "dancing mushroom" in Japanese. It is said to be named so after people danced with happiness upon finding it in the wild, such are its incredible healing properties. Maitake mushroom is a type of adaptogen. It works to regulate systems of the body that have become unbalanced whilst strengthening immunity. Maitake is most potent in Beta (1-3),(1-6)-glucans as discovered by a Jap...anese scientist in the 1990’s, where immune potentiating benefits were demonstrated leading to a commercialised medicinal product. Our organic maitake is a 1:1 dried powder, free of starch. #driedherbs #australherbs #herbsuppliers #herbal #wholesalers #organicherbs #certifiedorganic #wildcrafted #herbalmedicine #plantmedicine #traditionalmedicine #mushroom #medicinalmushroom #henofthewoods #dancingmushroom See more

11.01.2022 New product: Australian grown Elderflower Elderflower is an expectorant herb that can be used to treat respiratory infections, colds, flus and seasonal allergies. It’s a mild laxative that has a sweet and musky natural flavour, which can also help reduce fevers and inflammation. Steep for a nourishing tea or a herbal infusion. One of our favourite blends is to add elderflower to our dried orange, elderberries, liquorice root and marshmallow root.

04.01.2022 Our certified organic rose petals are available in red and pink. Not only gorgeous, they’re aromatic, sweet and a beautiful addition to any tea or cosmetic blend. The red petals maintain their deep scarlet colour and look as beautiful as they smell. The pink, is a soft pastel and equally delicious when used in herbal teas. A lot of people ask if our rose petals are edible and the answer is - yes!

04.01.2022 Have you ever wondered where Passionflower's name originated from? These intricate flowers were seen by Spanish missionaries who correlated the beauty with the passion of christ. Passionflower - Passiflora incarnata has been used since the 1700's by Nature American Indians for many medicinal uses as well as magic charms to attract friendships and bring about peace. Brew a herbal passionflower tea, infuse for potency or speak to your Naturopath / herbalist about its tinctured form. It is a gentle calming herb that will bring peace to your mind both day and night.

01.01.2022 ROOIBOS - Aspalathus linearis Red bush tea is deee-licious! It can carry spices through for a strong spicy chai just like a Ceylon black tea does - yet is completely caffeine-free and lower in tannins. For herbal brews, it can act as a base note for a perfectly balanced brew due it its full bodied, aromatic profile. Steeped with fresh lemon and mint, on ice for the summer is a winning combo, but you could use lemongrass, vanilla, freeze-dried berries or any of our dried fruits to make your favourite blend. And yes, it is antioxidant rich - helping to fight free radical damage to cells.
