06.01.2022 ELICOS program now ONLINE North Metropolitan TAFE now offers the ELICOS program online delivered in partnership with Navitas English. General English, English f...or Academic Purposed (EAP) and IELTS Plus will now be offered online for students offshore and unable to enter Australia due to COVID-19 restrictions. The cost for these courses remain unchanged. There is no change to the enrolment process for these courses with international student applications through TIWA.

04.01.2022 Charles Darwin University (CDU) will be the first university in the country to pilot a programme to bring international students back to Australia. International students in this pilot programme will be the first group allowed to enter Australia since it closed its borders in March due to COVID-19. This will also make the Northern Territory the first jurisdiction in the country to welcome back international students.
