23.01.2022 The NBN network fault in Victoria & Tasmania has been resolved and all impacted services should be restored. Again, thanks for your patience!

18.01.2022 NBN Co is "evaluating" slowing down or limiting downloads for users during peak times in order to overcome these fixed wireless congestion problems. NBN Co revealed last month that some fixed wireless towers were experiencing take-up rates of 80 per cent and it has cancelled plans to offer a fast 100 Mbps plan on fixed wireless due to excessive cost. The fixed wireless component of the NBN covers approximately 600,000 Australian homes. 234,000 homes are currently connected.

17.01.2022 A network outage is impacting NBN services in Victoria. At this stage we are unable to provide a time frame for a resolution, however be assured network engineers are working to resolve the fault as quickly as possible. Once resolved, affected NBN services will be restored.



17.01.2022 NBN Co on Thursday night announced it had dumped plans to provide 100 megabit per second (mbps) speeds on its fixed wireless network, but on the 24 October 2017 told a Senate Estimates committee that 50% of Fixed Wireless would be able to access 100 Mbps (by rollout completion). Furthermore the NBN Co disclosed to the same committee that only 24% of FTTN customers will be able to access 100 Mbps. NBN Co said its mandate was to offer most of the country speeds of at least 50mbps, while offering speeds of at least 25mbps to the rest of the nation.

15.01.2022 UPDATE 4: NBN SERVICES RESTORED Good news! Most affected NBN services have been fully restored. Other affected customers have been contacted and their NBN services have also been restored. Our team will continue to closely monitor throughout the evening. If your service is not working, please try to reset your modem and your service should come back online. 14.01.2022 UPDATE: Alright, everyone. You should be able to re-connect now. Just reboot your modem. Switch it off for 1 minute. Switch it back on. You may have to wait 15 minutes for it to re-configure. ____________________________________________ Hi there! If you're in Victoria or Tasmania, and your NBN isn't working, it's because of an NBN network outage. Still not a lot of information on hand, but as soon as more information comes to light, we'll let you know here first.

02.01.2022 A network fault is affecting some customers on the NBN. For more info visit http://ow.ly/J9jU30hUNPS. This fault has been resolved and the majority of services have been restored, but some services with Huawei HG659 are still affected. Customers with affected Huawei HG659 modems, will need a replacement modem to reslove the fault. An SMS has already been sent to affected customers directly to inform them a free replacement modem to reslove the fault is already on route. Thanks for your patience.
