21.01.2022 [ACYA Media Release] CAMPx2018 scholarship: ACYA and China Australia Millennial Project - CAMP have announced a partnership aimed at building the capacity of Australian CEOs and business leaders to engage with Asia, through the deepening of essential cross-border connections and expertise. As part of the partnership agreement, CAMP will provide two exclusive ACYA scholarships for one Australian and one Chinese member from an Australian and a Chinese chapter. The schola...rship values $5500 for each recipient, covering full delegate cost of the CAMPx2018 program. CAMP is a cross-border innovation program unites young leaders who are passionate about business, social innovation and strengthening the Australia-China relationship, and provides them with the tools to address real-world global challenges. 11.01.2022 Hey there ACYA/AHKYA friends! The AHKYA Exec team would like to thank everyone for being a part of AHKYA over this past school year. With the busy season ahead of us as another semester and another year comes to a close, we're looking for expressions of interest as we open up the recruitment round for the next terms to come. If you're wanting to get involved with us, or know of anyone who will be coming to study in Hong Kong in the new semester, reach out to us! We are reall...y looking forward to injecting some new life into our team and keep the AHKYA family growing. There are vacancies for the following positions: PRESIDENT Role: Plan strategic goals for AHKYA in conjunction with other executive team members. Draft the agenda for and chair monthly executive meetings. Monitor President’s email and be the first contact point to ACYA National, sponsors and speakers. Assist with other minor roles generally required of all executive members, creating marketing materials, event logistics etc. Requirements: - Highest level of time commitment for executive - Strong team work skills - Strong networking skills SECRETARY Role: Attend monthly executive meetings and take minutes, distribute minutes to executive team members. Participate in executive discussions on an ad hoc basis. Assist with other minor roles generally required of all executive members in organising and planning events, such as, event venue booking, communicating with sponsors, hosts, guests, speakers, etc. Requirements: - Strong or native speaker level English proficiency - Good organisational skills TREASURER Role: Maintain financial records of AHKYA, manage budget. Attend monthly executive meetings and participate in executive discussions on an ad hoc basis. Assist with other minor roles generally required of all executive members when organising and planning events such as, creating marketing materials, assisting event promotion, event venue booking, communicating with sponsors, hosts, guests, speakers, etc. Requirements: - Basic numeracy - Conversational English language skills Desired (but not necessary): - Finance related experience COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER: Role: Manage AHKYA Facebook page and make regular posts regarding upcoming events, general news and anything else appropriate to AHKYA. In charge of setting up online ticketing systems (such as: ClearCut, Eventbrite). Attend monthly executive meetings and participate in executive discussions on an ad hoc basis. In addition, assist with other minor roles generally required of all executive members when organising and planning events such as communicating with sponsors, hosts, guests, speakers, etc. Requirements: - Design capability If interested, please see the flyer below and submit your application to [email protected]!
