20.01.2022 Attention all International students travel ling overseas during the time of their study: This is a reminder to all International students who are traveling overseas during holidays to meet their family, friends or on holidays. Prior to departure from Australia please make sure that your Confirmation of Enrollment (CoE) is current and active with your education provider. Please also check that you are enrolled in your course prior to departure from Australia. ... If your CoE is expired or cancelled than you will be breaching your condition 8202(2) (a) . This means that your visa may be subject to cancellation and as you are entering in Australia. 16.01.2022 There seems to be some relief for all prospective applicants who may have been concerned about the immigration intake for the next financial year 2018-19 . 06.01.2022 The department of social services has recently announced major changes on the requirement and the eligibility requirement for the Assurance of support. In summary from 1 April 2018 the minimum income requirement for the individual and family has increased significantly from about $45,185 combined to $86,606 for individual and $115, 475 for combined. This is significant change in the Assurance of Support requirement and this will impact most of the sponsors who wishes to bring their parents and relatives from overseas. As the number of invitation for 189 has increased so as the points for invitation for some occupations. This includes the Pass mark to be at 65 Points and once the occupation ceiling is reached for any occupation , no further invitation will be issued. 01.01.2022 Invitation round update: 4 April 2018 Once again there was a continuous decrease on the number of invitation issued by the Department of Home affairs as only 300 invitations for 189 and 5 invitations issued for visa class 489(regional provisional) This means that there may be a backlog of large number of applicants who are still waiting on their EOI to be approved and who are under 60-65 points mark. Most IT Occupations are at 75 points mark for the invitation and it seems th...at there is no sign for reducing due to high level of competition for the candidates across the world.
