24.01.2022 alrighty, back into the swing of things after a much-needed holiday break. And because I'm feeling so relaxed and de-stressed after my break (largely thanks to an incredible sound healing session while I was away, from the lovely Katie Underwood), I'm thinking it's time for another sale to celebrate the new year ;) So, from now until midnight AWST (GMT+8 for those who are not in Australia) on Australia Day (January 26th), all standard finish Dharma Drums are 10% off! That mea...ns that a full sized drum is only $360; midi drums are only $315 and mini/travel drums are just $270! As always, your drum comes with delivery anywhere in Australia, a set of mallets. your choice of any of our standard finishes, and care and feeding instructions included in the price. Please note that due to size restrictions, some tunings may not be available on travel sized drums. 22.01.2022 2 drums are now coated with epoxy and curing...let's just say I'm glad that's done lol. Feet are sanded and positions are marked on the drums ready to go; tomorrow, the feet will be put on and the fine-tuning finished.

20.01.2022 Long but amazing day - delivered the drum that has her own theme song to her new home and experienced an awesome sound healing session. Still feeling somewhat scarecrow-ish lol, but I reckon I'll sleep well tonight!

18.01.2022 Here is where you'll find all our standard non-customised drums, end-of-runs, experimental tunings that we decided to discontinue and so on. All these drums will be for sale cheaper than a custom drum as there will be no choice in colours/sizes/tunings etc.

17.01.2022 Oh boy lol...as per usual, I start a project thinking I have a rough idea of how it's going to work out, and it takes on a life of its own and becomes something FAR bigger! In this case my magickal drum that I posted about previously has dovetailed into another project I have undertaken - so one drum has now become many, and a permanent outdoor installation that will be open to the public! LOL what HAVE I got myself into? :P

14.01.2022 pretty warm today (37C)....last few touch-ups on the paint of the drum that's flying to Melbourne with me next week have been done and I'm waiting for it to dry (seems to be a lot of waiting for paint to dry happening lately LOL - I had to wait for several days after the art was completed for the paint to be dry enough to finish working on this drum); next up today I will be marking and measuring for the feet, engraving it and then sealing it with epoxy. That will have to cure overnight; then tomorrow the feet will go on and the fine tuning will happen. So either tomorrow evening or Monday, I should have some video of this drum :)

13.01.2022 the end is near lol...second coat of clear gloss is now on and drying. Once that's done I can finish fine-tuning and make any adjustments for overtones if needed, and decide whether I want to add feet to this one or not. Pics and info later this afternoon when the Ursa Minor ancestor drum is listed for sale.

09.01.2022 Full-size drum (approx. 30cm diameter) - Ursa Minor tuning, Nova finish over Midnight Blue with Heritage Blue and Blue Diamond overspray inside. This drum also has a wolf paw and stars in glow-in-the-dark paint (photos of the glow paint when it's dark a bit later if I can capture them!) This drum comes with a set of mallets, tuning magnets and rubber dampers for $350 including delivery anywhere in Australia. Feet can also be added if desired for only an additional $20. This drum has been attuned to the energy of the Ancestors - while I was creating it, my grandfather stepped forward to guide me through the attunement process and I thought it was fitting that the drum has an Ursa Minor tuning and my grandfather's nickname was Misha, which is Russian for "Little Bear" :)

08.01.2022 Alrighty, have arrived safely in Ballarat this morning with the drum that is going to Melbourne on Monday! Exhausted and sore but here and ready to rock.

05.01.2022 I have been a bit quiet on here of late - however I am now being called to make another very special and magickal drum with a very important job to do. Watch this space!
