21.01.2022 Ok team I know things have been quiet following from Covid. I finally have my head around most things at work (although things keeps changing) so it’s time to get back into rallies. I have booked off October - Sunday the 25th so let me know if you can attend and what you would like set up for the rally. Look forward to seeing everyone then.
20.01.2022 Hi everyone. One of our members has misplaced her quiver. Same as picture but black leather with blue stitching. Can anyone help locate it? Thank you and stay safe.
20.01.2022 Our very dedicated 14 year old Damian aboard the mighty Chilli owned by Julie Chandler to score a whopping 106 points in the Novice korean Triple this week. :) well done Team Damo !!

18.01.2022 Any of our SA members interested in nominating?
15.01.2022 Good Morning SA! Hopefully some good news. STATE CHAMPIONSHIP will be postponed until 21 & 22 March 2020. To run the tracks we require time and equipment we don’t currently have. This decision also allows us time to train on tracks like Polish and Hun and make any changes we need to ensure everyone stays safe and enjoys the weekend 100%. ... Therefore, Sunday 24th will now become a Rally Day! Will make a seperate post shortly as I would like members to discuss if we keep our morning schedule or change to a twilight rally time over Summer. For those who expressed they would come practice today after 3pm you are still most welcome. But I also won’t feel sad if I don’t see you until the following Sunday . Thank You everyone.
15.01.2022 Terri says walk, but her Warmblood Cruise says why, When we can Flyyyyy !! This super star duo have been with us since the very beginning of HA in SA and what wonderful ambassadors they have been. Thankyou Terri and Cruise
15.01.2022 Congratulations Team Australia
13.01.2022 Ready for our first Monarto Rally. Gates open at 9am. We will start at 10am. Blue line takes you through double gates to the track. Heaps of parking. No water. I will have some 20L drums available. Red track will take you to house (yellow) and yards (purple). There is a huge roundabout up there and parking for maybe 1-2 floats. ... Still figuring some things out but after a few rallies I’m sure we will figure things out as to what works best. If you wish to stay for lunch please bring a plate to share. I have some party pies/sausage rolls. Up for discussing is changing rally times for summer to twilight rallies. Any other concerns/thoughts/ideas are welcome.
11.01.2022 Congrats to All AHAA members for some great results, well done to Damian, Julie, Matty and Terri from SA. Love your work team xx
10.01.2022 NEW IHAA HBAE HUNGARIAN RULES We're pleased to publish the new IHAA Hungarian rules which will be effective immediately. The focus of the IHAA is the 3-discipli...ne horseback archery eventing (HBAE)and for some time we have been concerned that the Hungarian rules needed some adjustments. The IHAA enjoys participation from all over the world, people with different speed preferences, and we wanted the rules to allow everyone the potential to win. The IHAA Korean tracks had already been optimised in this manner, and now - after 8 months of development - we believe the same is true of these rules. There are 3 versions of the track with different lengths: 110m, 90m and 60m. The H110 is primarily the championship track, the H90 and H60 will be used in both competitions and postal matches; both within HBAE competitions and as stand-alone Hungarian events. All 3 tracks may be used for grading - the updated grading table will be released at the beginning of March. The rulebook will be updated and published as soon as possible. For now, the rules are on the IHAA website and in the document linked here: https://drive.google.com//1zt2gwVVU6e3a5loANBu2j0glj/view
10.01.2022 Here we are team, a 90m straight track with approx 40m run in/out. We will surface it soon to minimise dust and provide an all weather surface (not that it rains much out here). While I understand Monarto is a touch further for some of our members for travel I hope that the ability to unload, saddle and shoot with no set up time will make up for this inconvenience. We hope to run State Champs here at the end of this month. Unfortunately at this time I can not facilitate... a rally as I’m working all next weekend. However...Sunday the 17th I finish work at 3:30pm. So I would like to offer people the opportunity to come and trial the track and offer feedback. With daylight savings it should give us at least 2 hours of training, allowing 1-2 hours of travel home before dark. If interested please indicate on this post. You are welcome to arrive around 3pm so we can kick off asap. Thanks everyone, I look forward to many happy hours of shooting with you all!
10.01.2022 Hello all :) due to our state rep and branch manager being away this month. We have no events, rallies or competitions scheduled for the month of August. Stay tuned though as September and October events will be posted this week. Until then happy shooting
09.01.2022 Hi Team, sorry for all the quiet. Holidays aren’t quiet time for tourism workers and I’ve lost track of the weeks. Have posted up our Feb rally. As I’ve missed January is there any interest in holding a second rally this month if the nice weather continues? Happy to run postals for anyone interested. Discussion at lunchtime will be on preparation for States.
04.01.2022 Hi Team, work has commenced on our permanent run. The second photo is an idea of the track I want to try and achieve at the end of this. It will take time but once done there will be minimal set-up time and that means maximum time for what we love
03.01.2022 AHAA Rally 25th October 117 Paech Rd, Monarto. Arrive 10am for a 10:30 start.... Will have the Korean track set up. Weather is set for max 17 with cloud cover and slight chance of showers. Wind should be down to a breeze instead of gusts. Please confirm attendance and look forward to seeing those who can make it. Thanks.
