20.01.2022 Hi all. After consultation with Logan City Council and updated news reports. Tomorrow's races at Logan Parklands remain cancelled. Regulations for new restrictions to the use of Parklands in Logan is a maximum group size of 10 people.... Police patrolling will be happening making sure there are no breaches to these new restrictions. Fines will be in force. We do have permission to use the facilities but will not be exempt of any fines for breaches of the covid rules. The health, safety and well being of all our club members is paramount. I also don't wish to risk a chance of possible fines if we are being seen to not follow covid rules. Like most of you, I too am frustrated by these developments but I think it is with best interest to all our members coming from far and wide around the South East corner of QLD to not continue our races tomorrow. So tomorrow's Races August 23rd, at Logan Parklands are cancelled. I thank you for your understanding. I wish you all good health and hopefully we will be able to conduct our Club Championships next Sunday. Stay safe and healthy. Regards Shane Pearson.

15.01.2022 It was great to see Dane Bird-Smith mentoring some of our young athletes in the Target Talent Program over the weekend. *Photos curtesy or Queensland Athletics.*

13.01.2022 Sunday 6th September and Mia Bergh walked the 5km in 27 minutes and 49 seconds, knocking 2 minutes off her previous personal best and five minutes faster than l...ast year. This gave her the third place in the race. What impressed me most was the race walkers were from little kids to senior citizens and every age group in between. The 10 km race was won by Caitlin Hannigan, a year 12 student in her final year of high school. See more

06.01.2022 QA had a mid week competition carnival tonight with a 3000m walk. Congratulations and well done to all the athletes that competed. From where I was standing you all looked fantastic. Good techniques and no DQs.
