15.01.2022 The Lions Club of Hornsby, on behalf of N5 Zone 13 secured an ALF $15,000 grant to assist with the purchase of these Wheels for Ryan. Fantastic effort to achieve this outcome for Ryan and his family. Merry Christmas Ryan

14.01.2022 Lions Australia is pleased to have adopted Disaster Relief Australia as one of our key projects. Disaster Relief Australia (formerly known as Team Rubicon) brin...gs military veterans, emergency responders and motivated civilians together to volunteer their time to assist with emergency and disaster relief operations. This not only helps communities devastated by disasters, but it also helps Australian veterans find purpose through community service. Lions members are often the first to respond during times of crisis, as was seen in the 2019/2020 Black Summer bushfires. This partnership will be of significant benefit to both organisations - allowing veterans to get involved in more community projects, and assisting Lions clubs with more trained emergency responders in times of disaster. 13.01.2022 Today we held our AGM via Zoom. This was another first for the Foundation, with approximately 60 participants from all over the Multiple District. Congratulations to Chairperson Tony, and to all who joined in. Thank you Amanda Harrison for the photos.

Thank you PDG Dave Thomas for your swift action in alerting the ALF to the emergency situation in Tennant Creek. Congratulations to those local Lions who are working tirelessly to assist their community to get food to where it is needed most.

04.01.2022 At this time each year, usually at our MD 201 National Convention, the Australian Lions Foundation Board has great pleasure in inducting worthy Lions into the Australian Lions Foundation Hall of Fame. These inductees are Lions who have served, and are still serving their community, not only through Lions but through many other avenues. We have great pleasure in announcing that this year's recipients are: PDG Anne Jones OAM (N4), PCC Ian Kelly OAM (W2), Lion Peter Boge (Q3) and PDG Bob Goldsworthy (Q3). Formal presentation will be made by the respective District Governors and State Directors at a suitable time in the future. Congratulations to all very worthy recipients.
