22.01.2022 R U M I {Birth Story} It was 6pm on a regular Thursday evening in my home when I had this inkling to check in with Renee. It wasn't yet her due date but my kids were wild that evening and that's a good indicator to me that something is brewing. Renee said she had booked in acupuncture for the following monday and would hang out and wait until then, I put my own little people to bed and had a shower. At 8:24pm Her hubby Errol gave me a call and said Renee was having some pains..., I dragged the kids out of bed and dropped them off to my parents and headed around the corner to Renee's home where she was planning to birth her little one. As I walked in I knew id missed it and by minutes! Renee had birthed her baby girl Rumi while standing over the laundry toilet before any of us could arrive in under an hour. Just her, her husband and her sleeping little toddler. AMAZING! here's the story from where I walked in. Thank you for having me Renee & Errol and congratulations on your beautiful little Rumi <3

22.01.2022 L E V I I was lucky enough to spend some time with this beautiful family in their brand new baby bubble the other day and what a sweet bubble it was. Even Marley the dog was happy to snuggle up on the cool, rainy morning. Thanks so much for having me Adrienne & William. Can't wait for him to come join Collies in a few years time Just joking. 21.01.2022 O L I V E R {Maternity & Newborn} All babies arrivals are such a special transition for families of all types. Being on the back of the camera watching these transformations happen right before my eyes is one of the most amazing things in world to witness. These were complete strangers when I rocked up to the local beach carpark and met them for the first time and just a few weeks later while waving goodbye as I left their beautiful home, they felt like friends. 20.01.2022 L U K E {Newborn Session} The days are long but the years are so, so short. The first time I heard that saying I thought it made no sense. But here I am as a mum of 3 and I just cannot believe that it's almost the end of yet another year. 19.01.2022 The Campbell Family So much personality in one little lady! Peyton had us in stitches for the whole session in the studio. I can't even imagine the conversation she has at home before bed. Haha. This was the first of the mini sessions I did on Saturday and how lovely it is to catch up with past clients and friends. 14.01.2022 What a beautiful way to end a weekend. We laughed, strolled and chatted. We went fish spotting and castle building. I'm so thankful that my clients not only open up their homes to me but their arms and hearts too. 06.01.2022 R I L E Y {Newborn Session} As the temperature outside soared to somewhere around 40 degrees and the wind howled around us, sweet little Riley lapped up all the cuddles and extra attention that came with newborn photos. It's crazy to think when I look at these little babe's that just a few short weeks ago they were still in a tummy, swimming around in fluid with no idea what the 'outside' world brings. No wonder our babies love to be close to you and feel safe in such an unkn...own place. Imagine the feeling of air on their skin, clothes even. The strange sounds and smells, the light too far out, it must be so bright! And with all that going on here we are just a few shorts days/weeks later connecting with this precious little person looking back at us! Miracle almost seems too underrated for the magic that is creating tiny humans. Blows my mind. Thanks so much Nat and Dan for providing the goods when it came to some cool air and many laughs on the hottest day ever. Ash x
