25.01.2022 ACC National President Wayne Alcorn calls everyone to prayer.

25.01.2022 'LOUD KRAZY LOVE' is in cinemas this week from 15 May for a limited time. The sound Brian Head Welch helped pioneer with KoRn in the early 90s provided identity to a generation of misfits and made him a global rock star. Famous, wealthy, and worshipped in the spotlight, an adolescent self-loathing relentlessly haunted him in the shadows until the day a tiny miracle was born. By the time he walked out on a $23M record deal in 2005, desperate to kick a devastating crystal... meth habit, all he wanted was to become a good father. The truly hard part had just begun. LOUD KRAZY LOVE details the harrowing journey of Brian and his daughter Jennea growing up together with chaotic courage and unconventional faith. Far beyond a rock doc, this fearless coming-of-age story grapples with teenage depression, the quest for identity, and the hope of a father willing to do anything for the one he loves. For more information and tickets go to https://www.loudkrazylove.com.au Tickets now on sale.

24.01.2022 As we fight the COVID-19 pandemic on our knees, with Christians from all denominations all around the world praying every day at 19h00, many are asking what to pray. Patterns are the key to sustaining your prayer time. Here is one way to help you pray (see the circle diagram). Start at the core and work your way outwards from your household and extended family to the nation and the world. Lets pray:... For health and protection, and family life to prosper. For the Church to continue to bring faith, hope and love, despite buildings closed for services. That Gods people (would be salt and light in their community and neighbourhood, and that we would make the most of every kingdom opportunity. For peace to pervade our society and for peoples mental and emotional well-being. For all those in the medical fraternity working with infected people and those who are working towards a vaccine for the Coronavirus. For healing for those already infected with the virus and for an increase of healing and the miraculous in our nation and around the world. For our leaders in government to have expert information available to them, wisdom with that information, and courage to make the decisions that need to be made. Join the National and Global call to stop and pray at 19h00 (7pm in your time zone) and pray for 19 minutes. THE PRAYER OF A RIGHTEOUS PERSON IS POWERFUL AND EFFECTIVE (James 5:16)

24.01.2022 THE BLESSING AUSTRALIA During this time of uncertainty and physical isolation, over 300 local churches united together in Australia to sing a blessing over our nation. This is the first time this has happened - unifying he Australian church and singing a blessing over our nation. "The Blessing" was breathed into life through the song by Kari Jobe, Cody Carnes and Elevation Worship. It is based on a powerful priestly blessing in scripture, spoken over peoples lives for thous...ands of years (Numbers 6:22-27). The heart behind the video is to unite, celebrate and honour as many different denominations, groups and ministries within the Australian church. While these Blessing projects are sweeping the globe at large, this video seeks to be uniquely Australian. You will not only see diversity in the body of Christ, you will also see our diverse Australian landscapes, as people from all over our nation sing within their own local contexts. Lets be praying for desperately needed rain and and conditions to change.... 22.01.2022 ACC PENTECOST SUNDAY PRAYER MEETING "When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them." (Acts 2: 1-4) We have a wonderful weekend ahead o...f us, celebrating Pentecost Sunday across our church services, and the largest Prayer Meeting in our movement, scheduled for 3pm AEST. Imagine the faith and fervour of 3,000 Holy Spirit-filled pastors and leaders praying together not just against a virus but for revival? Well, you can support us in prayer on Pentecost Sunday! Join us by praying wherever you are at 3pm AEST (2.30pm in South Australia & Northern Territory; and 1pm in Western Australia) as part of our ACC PENTECOST SUNDAY PRAYER MEETING on 31st May 2020. We believe that our prayers in unity and faith will ignite a revival across our land led by the Holy Spirit that will spread across the earth. And it shall come to pass afterward That I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your old men shall dream dreams, Your young men shall see visions. And also on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days. (Joel 2: 28,29)

20.01.2022 FROM DESPAIR TO HOPE EASTER MESSAGE BY WAYNE ALCORN, ACC NATIONAL PRESIDENT The death and resurrection of Jesus Christ is pivotal in the Biblical narrative, and critical to the foundations of faith for all Christians.(1) This wasnt a fictional event, as His life is well documented by believers and non-believers alike. It is hard to deny His life and brutal death on a cruel Roman cross, when historians such as Flavius Josephus affirm this.... That Jesus lived is one thing, but what He did and why He did it is even more profound. An innocent man died in the place of a guilty human race. The impact of this significant event goes beyond those who lived in those times it still impacts every one of us today. The simple fact is that we have all sinned and cannot grant ourselves forgiveness. Our pardon came through Christs sacrifice. (2) It wasnt nails that held Jesus to that cross, it was Gods love for us all. (3) Thankfully His death is not the end of the story. If Friday offers redemption to mankind, then the declaration, He is risen that following Sunday morning, is the premise for our victorious hope. (4) When we look at the daily news, we are bombarded with global events that can easily cause us to despair. This is the wonderful thing about Easter: when we look at the Cross, we find forgiveness for our past. Then turning to the empty tomb on Resurrection Sunday, we discover a fresh hope for our future. (5) My prayer is that this Easter, the death and resurrection of Jesus reminds us all of the hope we have in Him. _____________________________ SCRIPTURE REFERENCES: 1. 1 Corinthians 15:1-5 2. Romans 3:23-26 3. Romans 5:8 4. 1 Peter 1:3-4 5. Romans 15:13 ___________________________ Everyone is welcome to attend the Easter services in our ACC churches across the nation. 13.01.2022 EASTER 2020 MEDIA RELEASE BY WAYNE ALCORN, ACC NATIONAL PRESIDENT TOGETHER. HUMANITY. KINDNESS.... Easter this year is looking a little different from the traditional gatherings and services at church. We are living in unprecedented times, as across the planet, there is a battle against the effects of Covid-19. Along with sickness and disease, and an imminent economic crisis, people around the world are facing isolation, desperation and uncertainty about the future. In these dark days, we are starting to understand that we have much more in common with our fellow man than many of us realised. In the midst of shared danger, we are seeing a universal language emerge, where words are used like: TOGETHER. We are suddenly much more aware of our need of each other. Even though social isolation is demanded across society at this time, there is greater intentionality to connect and support our neighbours. HUMANITY. Modern man has been lured into a false sense of security, believing that science and technology will deliver us a degree of invincibility. Now, in a moment, we are all aware of our mortality. KINDNESS. A pandemic like this has the potential to bring out the best in people. We are discovering that small things do make a big difference, and simple acts of kindness bring hope. As we approach Easter, we can reflect how the three days summarise not only the Passion Story, but all the emotion that is in the human experience. FRIDAY. The lonely, isolated death of Jesus on the Cross was for our togetherness our reconciliation and relationship with God. Before He faced the Cross, Jesus prayed in the Garden of Gethsemane at length that we may be one (John 17:21,23). SATURDAY. The day when Jesus followers felt numb, confused and hopeless reminds us of our humanity, when we find ourselves helpless in the face of adversity. Jesus embraced every dimension of humanity so He can relate to us, and therefore we can relate to Him (Hebrews 4:15). SUNDAY. The completion of the Easter story is the resurrection of Jesus a reminder of the new life He gives. It is through the kindness of God who so loved the world that He gave His only Son (John 3:16) that we may face the future with hope. For all of us walking through this season, Easter brings the message of hope in the face of hopelessness. These three days changed everything. So why not consider the invitation by a risen Saviour to embrace the wonder of all THAT Sunday brings. You are welcome to join one of our many ACC church services online this Easter. See Find A Church on the ACC website to find details of specific churches.

13.01.2022 We are living in complicated times, and in the midst of the challenges we face, we use the words of Paul when he wrote to the Thessalonian church: Brothers and sisters, pray for us (1 Thess 5:25 NIV). May we ask you to include the following urgent needs in your prayers for Mozambique: MOZAMBIQUE... ACCI has alerted us to the devastation that occurred in Mozambique, following Cyclone Idai that has left a trail of death, destruction and homelessness in southern Africa. Please be praying for Robbie Housen and her team who have endured a traumatic time in the path of the eye of the storm. They have survived but the Hope Centre compound has been completely destroyed, and they are cut off waiting for flood waters to subside. Lets be praying for this developing country as it is estimated that 90% of the port city of Beira has been devastated as heavy rain and flooding take their toll. For more information on Robbies ministry in Mozambique and to support them, visit this site: https://donate.acci.org.au/form-4503573/housen-fw025-pledge See more

01.01.2022 GODS RESPONSE TO OUR CHALLENGES 2019 CHRISTMAS MESSAGE BY WAYNE ALCORN, ACC NATIONAL PRESIDENT As the year draws to a close, reminders of Christmas are all across our communities. Its a time of great celebration, but for some people across our country, it may be hard to celebrate because 2019 has been so very difficult.... Severe drought is biting hard in many regions, and with that, comes incredible pain and hardship. Devastating bushfires have done so much damage to people and properties in recent months. Unemployment has been a heavy weight on a lot of Australians; and added to that is the very painful personal life experiences many people have had to navigate. The big question is, whats Gods response to our human condition with all its challenges? Its what and who we celebrate at Christmas: Gods Son, who is called Emmanuel. We can read about how it was announced it in the New Testament. Listen! A virgin will be pregnant, she will give birth to a Son, and he will be known as Emmanuel, which means in Hebrew, God became one of us. (Matthew 1:23 TPT) He did not come as an angel, nor as a fully formed, perfect adult He came as a vulnerable baby. He wasnt born in a palace, but a stable. He experienced every human emotion and situation. This is why the Bible tells us that He can empathise with and relate to us in all our challenges. No matter how life is treating us, it is reassuring to know that there is a God who understands and loves us. He is with us. As we go into this Christmas season, lets be strengthened knowing God is with us, and perhaps take a moment to pray for and bless those who are doing it tough in the spirit of Emmanuel God with us.

01.01.2022 LOUD KRAZY LOVE is in cinemas this week from 15 May for a limited time. The sound Brian Head Welch helped pioneer with KoRn in the early 90s provided identity to a generation of misfits and made him a global rock star.
