25.01.2022 Gold Coast families - do you need an extra pair of hands? Demi Pairs available now! Host a Demi Pair and have help with the kids and some housework in exchange for their accommodation and meals. These international students have current Working with Children Check blue cards and experience with children. They study during the day at local English Schools in Southport or Benowa and help during the busy family times in the mornings, afternoons and/or evenings for 15 hours during the week. It is a fantastic cultural exchange and great for the kids to learn more about another culture and language. 20.01.2022 The City of Gold Coast, together with local business Ferry I, are proud to launch the city’s first public ferry service called Hopo. From 8 December 2019, resid...ents and visitors will be able to get around the city via our beautiful waterways on the Hopo ferries. The two-year Hopo ferry trial will link key destinations with initial ferry stops at: Sea World at Main Beach Broadwater Parklands at Southport Marina Mirage at Main Beach Home of the Arts (HOTA) at Surfers Paradise Appel Park at Surfers Paradise. 15.01.2022 Gold Coast Families, need some help? We have fantastic male & female candidates available in July. All have their working with children Blue Card checks and will provide 15 hours of childcare and light housework in exchange for accomodation and meals. The Demi Pairs study at English Schools during the day, then work as an extra pair of hands to help the family during the busy times in the mornings, afternoons and/or evenings, with weekends off. Location is important - as the candidates rely on public transport to get to and from school each day, they do need to be within 1 hour public transport travel time from Southport or Surfers Paradise..
