22.01.2022 CANCELATION OF THE 2020 NATIONAL DISABILITY CHAMPIONSHIP DUE TO COVID-19 In consultation with TBA, unfortunately, ADT has had to make the decision to cancel the 2020 National Tenpin Bowling Championship for persons with a disability that was to be held between 3 and 13 June 2020 at Zone Bowling Mt Gravatt. The 2021 Championship will be held at Mt Gravatt in Queensland to maintain the current rotation roster, meaning that all future championships will be pushed forward one yea...r. The date for 2021 will be 9 to 19 June 2021. State teams for the Open Cup and the Cole State Team Challenge, if they have already incurred costs in relation to accommodation, transport and uniforms will need to contact your travel provider in the first instance in relation to a refund. If you cannot get a refund or information from the airline or accommodation, please contact TBA head office in Queensland. Entry forms for 2021 will be issued in December 2020. Australian Disability Tenpin (ADT) will ensure that refunds for entries are processed as soon as possible. Due to the high number of entrants, please allow some time for this process to be completed. 20.01.2022 The following information has been put out by TBA regarding the Coronavirus and National Championships. The National Disability Championship is still going ahead at Mt Gravatt Zone Bowl. More detailed instructions for the control of the spread of the Coronavirus at the nationals will be put out by the ADT Tournament Committee in the coming weeks. Keep an eye out for this information. If there are any changes to this decision in relation to the Federal Governments investigation on the possibility of banning large group events, we will let you know as soon as possible.
