24.01.2022 A great morning of racing was had in spite of some wind and unwelcome smoke in the air from surrounding fires. It was terrific to see some new faces racing for the first time. Special thanks to Tamsyn's Mum Bec for taking the action shots!

18.01.2022 Here is the best sumary I have seen on the Footbike World Champs in Losser in 2018. It is 25 mins long, but if you want to get motivated about going to Estonia in 2020, then its worth it. If not keen on the racing, this still gives you an idea on the different kicking techniques that everyone uses. Happy viewing

17.01.2022 A typical August day for the first QLD race day for this season. Fine and cool, with a big head wind all the way up the final straight. A great day though, and thanks to everyone for observing good covid practices at racing, including individually wrapped ANZAC biscuits provided by one of our competitors at the finish. They were yum thanks Judith. Also welcome to our newcomers today. Also just for fun, we place obstacles on the track to really test everyone. See Photo bel...ow. Anyway the results were. 14.01.2022 Here it is. The 2019 Footbike Racing Calendar. All these events gain points towards your Australian ranking. Event entry forms, race info and updated rules, will all be online in 1 week, so now its time to schedule the events you will go to, and then get out there and do some training.

13.01.2022 QLD State Champs 2020 This event was run back on Sunday 15th March at Nundah Criterium circuit, right at the beginning when we first heard about social distancing. It proved to be our last event as on review we realised that it was too difficult for everyone to keep the required distance apart. As a result, we decided to postpone all other races and events until further notice. The day itself was a fine day, but the swirling winds were particularly strong, and it made for ...interesting times. We also had plenty of supporters out watching from a distance, and we thank the crowd, for all the yelling and screaming at the appropriate times. And the results for the 1.2KM Time Trial were 10-11 Female 1st Tamsyn Ikin 10-11 Male 1st Damian Jackson Novice Female 1st Sharon Anderson Super Vet Female 1st Lyn Cook 3m, 2nd Suzanne Moule Super Vet Male 1st Alan Stewart, 2nd John Donnellan Vet Female 1st Judith Jardine, 2nd Jo Hassan Vet Male 1st Danny Hovey, 2nd John Jardine Masters Female 1st Marian Herdegen Senior Female 1st Cara Jardine Open Female 1st Cara Jardine, 2nd Judith Jardine, 3rd Marian Herdegen Open Male 1st Alan Stewart, 2nd Danny Hovey, 3rd John Jardine Results of the 2.4km (2 laps) were 10-11 Female 1st Tamsyn Ikin 10-11 Male 1st Damian Jackson Results of the 10.8km (9 laps) were Super Vet Male 1st Alan Stewart, 2nd John Donnellan Vet Female 1st Judith Jardine, 2nd Jo Hassan Vet Male 1st Danny Hovey, 2nd John Jardine Masters Female 1st Marian Herdegen Senior Female 1st Cara Jardine Open Female 1st Cara Jardine, 2nd Judith Jardine, 3rd Marian Herdegen Open Male 1st Alan Stewart, 2nd Danny Hovey, 3rd John Jardine Well done to all competitors, and thanks again to all those who supported and volunteered to assist in the running of the event. We will reschedule the racing calendar as soon as physical distancing rules are relaxed, and look forward to catching you all then.

11.01.2022 Despite a forecast for showers, we had a perfect day for racing on Sunday. The temperature was ideal, the breeze was very slight, and the sun kept showing then disappearing in behind clouds. A great day for this annual event on the NSW Footbiking calendar. 11.01.2022 { Snapped ... Australian Footbike Team } The Australian Footbike Team was snapped with the Stepteam Twente in Losser... where the World Championships are being held this weekend

07.01.2022 2019 Australian Footbike National Champs Held at Stromlo in Canberra on 24th and 25th August 2019 2 nice fine days, a little colder on the Saturday morning. Everyone woke to minus 2 degrees, but by race start it had warmed to 11 degrees. The wind had an effect on times, and made keeping the finish line banner in place a problem. Sundays conditions were warmer, and the wind had changed direction, so less effect on times, but we still decided not to have the banner up. ...Continue reading
