20.01.2022 Almost 35 years to the day after his arrest outside the Israeli embassy in Washington DC, Jonathan Pollard (left) was granted the freedom to do what he wanted that day travel to Israel. Pollard’s lawyers announced on Friday that the US Parole Commission had lifted remaining restrictions on him, five years after he was paroled from federal prison, and 35 years since his November 21, 1985 arrest. Pollard and his then-wife, Anne, were turned away from the embassy that day as ...law enforcement closed in on the US Navy civilian analyst who had for several years spied for Israel. The decision to terminate Pollard’s parole brings to an end a saga that threatened Israel’s close military cooperation with its main ally and created one of the most serious rifts between Jerusalem and Washington in recent decades.

Enjoy the rest of your life the best you can. I’ll do the same. It’s very ...nice to find a man like you, who has done so much good, Jaku said. Walaszczyk rescued his Jewish girlfriend and 50 others during the Holocaust. He also fought the Germans as part of the underground, smuggling allied troops across borders. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lLa5Nw-cv9k

Tal Gabay (left) and Yehuda Fried, who have represented Leifer for six years and through more than 70 court hearings, said they would no longer represent her. However, Gabay insisted he still believed the Israeli justice system would prevent Leifer’s extradition and that even if it did not, an Australian court would deter...mine that she is unfit to face justice, and therefore will be allowed to return to Israel. The Israeli government must still sign off on Leifer’s extradition after a judge ruled in September that she should be sent to Australia to face 74 charges of sexual abuse. #bringleiferback!
