19.01.2022 The Australian Judo Union (AJU) is constantly monitoring the information and recommendations provided by the Australian Government on the spread and impact of COVID-19 to the Australian Community and to the AJU membership. There is no doubt that the COVID-19 Virus will have an impact of the health and wellbeing of all Australians and also presents a threat to the Events Calendar of the AJU. Following the government’s order to restrict indoor activities to less than 100 people... and giving due to consideration to the emphasis by public health officials to personal hygiene and appropriate Social Distancing to contain and isolate the virus, the AJU management has decided that there is no other responsible action than to suspend all events on the AJU Calendar until further notice. AJU Management will continue to monitor the COVID-19 pandemic and will notify members when the AJU Calendar is reactivated. It has become clear in recent days that the gravity of the COVID-19 Virus is a once in a life time crisis and requires the community to pull together co-operatively with dignity and respect to each other if we as a community are to quickly overcome this crisis and return to our normal lives in the near future. 16.01.2022 The 2020 AJU Annual Championships will be held at the Tallebudgera Leisure Centre , 1525 Gold Coast Highway, Palm Beach , Gold Coast Queensland. Looking forward to seeing you there!
