25.01.2022 Q: Can laser hair removal help prevent ingrown hairs? A: Yes! Ingrown hairs often occur after waxing, shaving or frequent exercise that causes sweating and/or chaffing. This is primarily the result of the uneven breakage of the hair tips or drying of the skin which prevents the hair from growing out of the follicle normally. Laser hair removal weakens then kills the hair at the root, preventing them from ingrowing.
