10.01.2022 To our Team Supporters, Family and Friends back in Australia, Unfortunately there was a boating accident in the final Mens race (race 4) yesterday involving our F2 boat Race Marine causing a leg injury to one of our drivers David Bisho. Mark Boyer the observer and Jack Stevens the skier were both fine with no injuries. Late last night, Bisho (David Bishop) was moved to the Orthopaedic Unit of Vichy hospital and is await review of a surgeon which will probably not happen unt...il Monday; we are hoping for today. Bisho has 3 fractures in the Right Femur above his knee and we are now waiting for the review of surgeon for an appropriate treatment plan. As an Australian team we send Bisho our support and strength to get through this difficult situation, stuck in a non-English speaking hospital which trust me isnt like our Australian hospitals isnt great for him and his wife Lou but we send our love to them and we wish him a speedy recovery! Lucky youre a tough one Bisho and a superstar bloke... Rest up mate and get better and back home to Australia ASAP x We thank the Australian teams who were first to the accident who stopped immediately to assist the team of Race Marine including Revolution Ski Racing Team and Pigs Arsenal Ski Race Team. Both teams were willing to forfeit their own race to assist the crew and demonstrated real sportsmanship in doing so. Thank you for your amazing sportsmanship. Team
