14.01.2022 SENSORY SHOPPING DAYS Thanks to Westfield Tuggerah any parent that needs to shop in quite you have the chance. ... Westfield's have put together a back to school sensory shopping initiative that aims to provide an inclusive environment and offer a shopping experience where all customers feel welcomed and valued. Through the back to school sensory shopping sessions they can make a difference to those who face the challenges of shopping in a high sensory environment. Westfield Tuggerah welcomes you and your families to a sensory friendly shopping experience for all your back to school needs. They understand this can be an overwhelming time for many families. There will be two dedicated session times where participating retailers will open their doors outside our normal trading hours, reduce their lighting and music and provide families to shop in a quiet and lower sensory environment. Session 1 Tuesday 19th, 8am-9am Session 2 Wednesday 20th 5:30pm-6:30pm. During this time there will be selected retailers participating that are essential to complete your back to school shopping. Some Retailers include - Mathers, The Athlete’s Foot, Just Cuts , Lowes, Surf Dive ‘n’ Ski and Platypus shoes. 04.01.2022 All parents and visitors will need to wear a mask whilst inside our service as we follow the rules of the NSW Government to continue the fight against COVID-19.
