25.01.2022 Today I went to the Mareeba field day and met up with Ian from Lucas mills. Australian Wood Shaving Co supplied the logs for the demonstration and was great to have a go at cutting some boards out of them.

25.01.2022 An update on Kaylee. Surgery went well. She ended up getting grommets while she was under..we are back at the house and she is eating and drinking well. So fingers crossed for a smooth recovery

25.01.2022 Dane and I just wanted to let everyone know that next Tuesday (18th) we will be closed as our daughter requires surgery in Cairns. Should all things go well we will be back open on Wednesday. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Just a reminder that I have security cameras and will not tolerate this sort of behaviour. I will also be reporting this to police. 02.01.2022 Case muscle on a massive red cedar log. This tree was planted in 1902 and cut down in 2018 making it 116 years old. It was grown at Gadgarra on the top of the gillies range.
