08.01.2022 SCOMO & 007 TO THE RESCUE Prime Ministerial First Aid saved Cheryl Ferguson last week after the 68-year-old Shire resident fell on the rocks at Kurnell, breaking her arm and severing an artery. Lying there bleeding profusely, Cheryl heard someone calling, Are you OK? It was Scott Morrison, Prime Minister and Federal member for Cook, the poster boy for the Shire.... Within minutes, James Bond appeared as Cheryl described the man from the PMs security detail. He applied First Aid in the form of a tourniquet after which, ScoMo sat, reassuring her until paramedics arrived. At the hospital, Cheryls anaesthetist told her she would not be alive had ScoMo and his protectors not arrived on the scene so quickly. We were in the right place at the right time and were able to give Cheryl immediate first aid, the PM said. Cheryl meanwhile wasted no time thanking the Prime Minister and inviting him to a backyard BBQ. Moral of the story: It pays to learn First Aid!
