19.01.2022 It is with much excitement and thanks to God that we announce the opening and dedication of the Eva Burrows Women's Hostel in Bandung, Indonesia. The renovations and refurbishment of this hostel was only possible through the many contributors to the AUS Women's Ministries Making It Happen project. Thank you to everyone who has worked so hard to raise funds so far. But the work is not yet finished....we still need your help to raise funds for the completion of the project. More information will follow soon along with photos of the official opening and dedication service conducted by Commissioners Peter and Jennifer Walker. PLEASE CONTINUE TO HELP RAISE FUNDS FOR THE MAKING IT HAPPEN PROJECT. Terima kasih!! (Thank you!!)

09.01.2022 Tomorrow is International Women's Day. This bold statement was made in the early 1900s. Unfortunately women across the globe still experience inequality. The go...od news is that the church can lead the way in seeking equality! Let's honour the inherent dignity in each person regardless of gender. For more ideas on how your faith community can engage in gender equality, check out this link: https://tinyurl.com/y9ymp68w See more

08.01.2022 The official opening of Eva Burrows Womens Hostel has taken place today. It’s been a time of celebration as we’ve seen a dream come to reality and the renovatio...n change the building totally to a modern, bright and attractive facility! It has been great to have as our special guest Captain Anne Jeffrey from Melbourne, Womens Ministries with us. We acknowledge the tremendous financial support from Australian Salvationists who have sponsored the work and enabled this project to happen. The weather held up after some concerns yesterday and everything has gone smoothly. I’m attaching a video walk through of the building that I did first thing this morning (a bit rough and ready and 10 minutes in length) together with some photos from the celebrations. It’s time for Projects Office to now hand the building over to Social Department who will have day to day responsibility going forward. Tomorrow is move in day - more excitement as 8 tenants take up residence. I’ll also aim to post some pictures of the inside of the building tomorrow - the internet is a bit slow tonight!!

08.01.2022 Reposting this update on the 2017/18 Making it Happen project. We still need your help to reach our target of $135,000. Currently we have raised just over $86,000 since the beginning of 2017. That's amazing!! All fundraising is due to your Divisional Women's Ministries Department by October 2018. Thank you for your support. Together we are making it happen!!

07.01.2022 Only ONE ticket left!! If you miss out this time, contact your Divisional Secretary for Women's Ministries for other training opportunities in 2019.

05.01.2022 Huge shout out Salvation Army Women’s Ministries NZ for these awesome cards! Thanks Rosy Keane for your creative and generous heart! So glad we’re PerSisters together
