22.01.2022 500+ kW at the treads, buckets of torque and far too much fun to drive. This Harrop TVS2650 Supercharger Kit sings on the 5.0L V8 when it's tuned just right!

22.01.2022 An awesome result from this Stage 3 package from Harrop Engineering. We fitted this full Harrop exhaust system comprising of 1 7/8 headers, hi-flow cats and a 3 catback, along with a Harrop OTR kit including all panels before putting it on the dyno for a custom dyno tune to get the most out of the mods. An awesome result, and for the price you'd have to be stoked with over 300+ kW / 415 hp at the wheels! And that note... oooh, that note.

21.01.2022 Not everyone is looking for a supercharged monster - often times just a small modification is all you need! This GT Mustang had a cat-back upgrade to help with the V8 note, and a custom tune to beef up the power and torque numbers along with far more positive throttle response. Better fuel consumption is always a welcome addition!

20.01.2022 Some impressive specimens were on show at the Capital All Ford Day over the weekend. The team at Autotech had a few choice vehicles on show, and to walk around and see some of the incredible builds proved just how strong the Ford community is in Canberra in 2019. Spoke to some great people and saw some truly awesome vehicles - not a bad way to spend a Sunday!

20.01.2022 Harrop Stage 2 package to suit LSA - the results speak for themselves!! Comprised of a cold air intake, blower drive pulley and a custom dyno tune created from the ground up in-house at Autotech, this already fast blown V8 delivers more power and torque literally everywhere throughout the rev range.



19.01.2022 Neat. Fast. And so damn cool. This VL Commodore is a testament to what upmost care and forethought can do with a performance build. Featuring a cammed 1.9L supercharged 6.2L LSA conversion with an upgraded crack pulley for increased boost, TH400 transmission, intake, exhaust and all the trimmings, this weapon was an absolute pleasure to work on.

17.01.2022 They don't need much if you do it right :D This 2013 3.2L Ford Ranger that came in with an existing aftermarket exhaust system responded so well to our custom tune. Power and torque gains everywhere, and the power didn't fall over like it does standard. Feels awesome on the road and super quick down low. We're loving these things at the moment!

16.01.2022 The owner of this Hino truck needed more power and torque from his workhorse, and we were happy to oblige. Our tune drastically improved the fuel consumption, provided better throttle response which makes driving far more positive, along with increasing the power by 45hp and torque by 110Nm - which feels impressive especially at lower RPM. 15.01.2022 This freak made incredible grunt, goes to show that sometimes you just get a good one. The customer was after useable power and torque on demand, so we decided on fitting a Harrop FDFI 2300 Supercharger kit, matching OTR intake and complete exhaust system on this Holden VF LS3. Drives like a weapon but still totally street but this one was just a gem making a phenomenal amount of go. Got to love the shocked look on a customer's face when they return from their first test drive around the block :D

13.01.2022 This Mustang 5.0L V8 is a great example of what can be achieved without having to remortgage the house. This customer didn't want his GT sitting super low but wanted the ability to slam it later on. Enter the set of Shockworx coilovers fitted at all fours, along with a Cold Air Intake upgrade and Stage 1 tune package for more grunt throughout the entire rev range as well as at wide-open throttle. An affordable yet impressive set of mods that always make us happy!

12.01.2022 Custom tuning turbo diesel models in-house has always been a passion of ours. The torque and power gains are considerable, but what most people loathe on stock vehicles is the lack of throttle response along with that dreaded turbo lag. Got to love the look on a happy customer's face when they pick it up - and that's what makes custom tuning different! Good times.

09.01.2022 A nod to Steve McQueen's legendary pony from the eponymous 1968 film, this unique and limited edition Bullitt Mustang GT was something special to work on. Featuring an inlet manifold, throttle body and intake from the Shelby GT350, this 5.0L V8 already had a little more on offer than most. But is it ever enough? In our experience, that would be a no! We fitted larger 1 7/8" headers that we then married up to the factory exhaust to retain the use of the factory fitted bi-modal system. We then set about custom tuning it for not only 98 RON fuel, but also did a secondary tune to suit E85 for even more power and wider smiles.

08.01.2022 Even an award winning car can be improved upon with a little know-how. This owner wanted his Model 3 to handle a bit better, so he swung by the workshop to discuss some options with the team. Knowing that this model didn't come from factory with a rear sway bar in Australia, filling this void made the most sense from a cost-benefit standpoint. We upgraded the front as well as installing the missing rear bar which resulted in a stiffer and more positive ride, and in the customer's own words, "Is now better in every way". Happy days.

05.01.2022 Featuring the 5.7L HEMI V8, this Dodge Ram comes with the strongest engine option on the Ram 1500 lineup, producing nearly 400 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque. With plenty of grunt, the customer was only looking for a better note befitting this giant, and we were happy to oblige with a Manta cat-back system. This Ram now sounds the way it should've sounded from factory in our modest opinion!

04.01.2022 Stout gains from just a custom tune and a couple of bolt-on upgrades on this truck - goes to show that the F150 ain't no princess. We fitted a ROUSH airbox kit for extra oomph along with a ROUSH cat-back system to help with the note as well as to minimise EGTs when towing, and then tied it all together with a custom tune on our dyno. Power and torque gains literally everywhere throughout the rev range - just check out that dyno sheet!

04.01.2022 One of the only 360 VF Directors that we’re produced in the final days of Holden production in Australia. Factory blown and looks so good in person - but this customer was looking for just a little bit more. So we set about upping the boost with a smaller supercharger top pulley and airbox combo along with a custom dyno tune. Feels good, looks great and goes very damn hard.

03.01.2022 We've modified a million Holdens over the years. That number is not an exaggeration. 'kay, maybe a bit of a lie, but still - we've been doing this for decades so we know what's up. This VF SSV was in for a Harrop OTR intake and their full exhaust package. If you haven't heard what a Harrop Engineering exhaust system sounds like on a VF 6.0L V8 - then do yourself a favour a watch the vid. They absolutely sing, sound tough as nails and as you can see from the results from the dyno, go hard as hell to boot.
