22.01.2022 We thought to introduce our customers to some of the work we have been doing a lot of lately; in brief our engine room has been very busy repairing engines with stretched timing chains. This type of damage is at the extreme end and it’s difficult to advice customers how to avoid this problem. Basically the timing chain stretches and the tensioner fails to the point where the engine timing is lost resulting in pistons and valves making contact. This obviously causes a lot of damage. Mostly this occurs around 100-120 thousand kms. Please give us a call, we are all ways happy to answer customer's queries.

19.01.2022 Here’s a couple of jobs you won’t see everyday. The first pictures are of a Bentley W series engine from a V12 coupe. This engine is also used in the Audi A8 minus the turbos. The same configuration is also used in the Bugatti Veyron with an extra 4 cylinders

17.01.2022 This week we’re finishing up on an engine repair on an A1 with another to start later in the week, then we hope to start in this monster W12 recently removed from a Bentley coupe. Looking forward to seeing how this huge engine works.

13.01.2022 While things are quiet in these strange times we have two customers who are over dealing with oil consumption. We can post a few photo’s of the process as we go.

12.01.2022 Our last post showed a Q5 having the engine removed, this car was booked in for excessive oil consumption, but on arrival had no compression on number one cylinder. The car is a one owner 80K 4 cylinders petrol 2013 model. Here are some pictures of work to date.

08.01.2022 Well we're still here and just managing to survive with all staff staff intact and working through rotation and entitlements. We feel very lucky to be able to work with in the current restrictions. Part of the plan has been to get a few maintenance jobs out of the way, and I've add a couple pictures of super nice tiled floor being laid down. To add to the wow factor I've add a couple of pictures of a 4.2 litre engine and transmission from a Q7, these assemblies are super huge, a few years ago they would have been powering trucks and buses.

On arrival to collect your car from our workshop it will be disinfected including the keys, which will be available at the front counter....
