06.01.2022 Really looking forward to a better 2021 as 2020 has really taken a toll on everyone. Looking back I feel so lucky to have caught up with my daughter, son in law and my 2 grandchildren when they came up for work to Northern NSW escaping the worst of the pandemic in Victoria. Nicole, Grace, Flynn and myself did a border run before they shut and then we all saw each other again when they reopened before everyone headed back to Victoria. 2020 also saw my other son in law deploye...d overseas with ADF. Nicole battled having 2 children home whilst home schooling Grace and Nicole having no work because of the pandemic. Nicole and Scotty both turned 40 this year with no party to celebrate this milestone. We also said goodbye to my brother in laws father after a long illness and dementia. My school friend also said goodbye to her husband after a long battle with a very rare brain disease. Unfortunately it was through the lockdown and we haven’t had a chance to say a proper goodbye as yet. Christmas and New Year Nicole, Grace, Flynn and myself flew down to Melbourne and we all celebrated together. Hopefully we don’t have to cut our holidays short. So while 2020 was a pretty shit year but I have to look at the positives as I was busy all through lockdown making beautiful clothes for all your beautiful children. I think our country handled the pandemic very well even though we didn’t like being told we couldn’t go out and had to wear masks compared to other countries where their numbers are still climbing. We all have done a great job which is something we should be all very proud of . Looking forward to a 2021 and bringing some new designs and new fabric choices for all your beautiful children. Bring on 2021!!!
