12.01.2022 Holiday Update letting all my clients know I will be away from the salon from Wednesday the 30th of September until the 3rd of October. I will be taking bookings up until the 29th of September and back in on Monday the 5th of October for one day/night only. My second lot of holidays is quite soon after that.....from the 6th of October and back in the salon on Friday the 9th of October. Wishing everyone a somewhat peaceful school holidays

03.01.2022 warning. This post may upset or traumatise some, that is certainly not my intention at all. As most of my family, friends and clients know I’m currently 34.1 weeks pregnant. Two weeks ago I was admitted to king Eddies for extreme pain and tightness that would come and go, threatening a preterm labor. The worst 2 weeks of my life during pregnancy and this is my 6th pregnancy. The medical name I can’t remember but I have way too much fluid in my belly and baby has fluid arou...nd it’s tummy and chest, resulting in needles being placed inside me to drain belly and needles inside baby to drain it’s chest. We have had this procedure done twice (horrendous) and trying to make it to 35/36 weeks of pregnancy. From there baby’s first 6 weeks of life will be in neonatal care. So when I’ve messaged to say I can’t come to your event or I’ve had to reschedule a appointment I wasn’t faking my pregnancy systems. The reason for this post is to let everyone know Avalon nest is closed until next year. It upsets me but I’m on bed rest and a lot of things are still up in the air.
