23.01.2022 Friday Fun!!!! Did you know......... An introvert is more likely to choose to travel to the mountains for vacation, while an extrovert is more likely to travel to the beach. What are you? I guess going by this analogy, I am an extrovert with the occassional introvert thrown in for balance. Coastal holidays are always high on my list but I do like getting among nature and going for a hike in the mountains or through the bush as well, though when in the mountain I am always on the lookout for streams and waterfalls.

20.01.2022 Friday fun!!! This has absolutely nothing to do with travel but I don't care, I just feel the need to share. This is a benefit of having feet the size of a child haha What do you have/wear/use that should be for kids but you say "damn it, I don't care" aswell and just run with it.

20.01.2022 Did you know that in the "Mobility Rankings" for passports, the Australian passport comes in at equal second. making it a powerful passport to have in the world of travel. Mobility Rankings are based on the number of countries the passport allows you to enter without a visa, with a visa on arrival or with a visa in advance. New Zealand tops the count with 86 visa-free countries and 43 visa on arrival countries that they can visit. Australia comes in second with 85 visa-free a...nd 43 visa on arrival countries that Australian passport holders have access to. Alongside Australia with the same ranking is Germany, Austria, Ireland, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Japan and South Korea. We just need to be allowed to leave our own country to experience how "powerful" an Australian passport is. Funnily enough though, we don't offer the same conditions to other countries. No matter which country people are visiting from, they must obtain some form of visa prior to entry. See more

20.01.2022 Today I will take you approx 3 hours north of Sydney and give you just a snippet of what the beautiful Port Stephens area including Nelson Bay has to offer just in time for your next possible road trip. Accommodation choices in this region are bountiful and you will be sure to find something that suits your style and budget. There are camping grounds, caravan parks to park your own caravan or hire one of theirs, hotels, resorts and a plethora of holiday houses perfect if goin...g with the whole family or a group. And if you think that there are a lot of accommodation choices, then you should see how many varied activities there are. Lets go sandboarding, 4WD, quad biking or jump on a camel to traverse the sand dunes of Anna Bay. Hire a scooter or a bike and follow the coast or head up in to the mountains. Visit the Koala Sanctuary, Oakville Wildlife Park or Irukandji Shark and Ray Encounters for some animal fun. Take a ride at Toboggan Hill Park, play some golf or bowls, zoom around the go kart track or get your inner sniper on at paintball. Take a walk to Fort Tomaree, Wreck Beach, Gaan Gaan Lookout or the Tomaree Head Summit Walk for some magnificent views of the area. Swim, surf, snorkel, SUP or dive at one of the many beautiful beaches. Walk along the Marina or catch the ferry over to Tea Gardens, do a day trip to Hunter Valley for some amazing food and wine. Take to the skies for a scenic flight or try to keep your lunch down while doing vertical rolls, barrel rolls and loops in a Jet Fighter. Last but not least, probably the most popular thing to do at Port Stephens is take a cruise to see some whales (in season of course) or visit the resident pod of dolphins that live in the bay all year round. There is so much to see and do or if you prefer, so little to see and do. Whatever your preference, Port Stephens definately won't disappoint. You can always give me a call for some first hand inspiration and to book your getaway. Or to get a deeper understanding of what Port Stephens and Nelson Bay has to offer head over to their official tourism website https://www.portstephens.org.au/ See more

19.01.2022 Friday Fun!!!! There are some things in life you just have to do no matter how corny especially when on holidays. I know travelling internationally is still a long way off but here are some inspirational ideas aswell as things not to do if you ever get the chance to visit the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Do you have some epic photos or some epic fails? I would love to see them.

18.01.2022 Friday Fun!!!! If this year was a normal year (and we all know how far from normal it has been) that this weekend would see the two week long festivities of the traditional folk fare, Oktoberfest, coming to a close. Oktoberfest has always been an immensely popular tourist attraction especially for males aged 20-35yrs (no surprise there) attracting over 6million visitors but it is also a family friendly event with only traditional, bavarian music, being allowed to be played p...rior to 6pm. Oktoberfest originally was a horse race to honour King Ludwig I marriage but the townfolk enjoyed the celebrations so much that they invented the festival so they had something to celebrate every year. So to a fun fact! Did you know that the only beer allowed to be served at Oktoberfest in Munich is beer that has been brewed in one of Munichs 6 breweries and has to follow strict guidelines to its ingredients. So, if you enjoy a good beer and like celebrating, well, anything, then be sure to raise your beer glass and shout "Prost" on Sunday to the Oktoberfest that couldn't be. See more

16.01.2022 Just want to give a huge shout out to all my amazing clients who voted for me again this year. Being a finalist this year is giving me the stamina to continue on in business, not let covid ruin what I have worked so hard for over the past 6 years and the patience that travel will return and I can start booking my clients holidays once again.

14.01.2022 Here is something to do which is very close to home. Why not go on a bushwalk at Budderoo National Park. There are various trails. Some quite short up to 800m. Some a bit longer being up to 4km return. And one only for the very experienced at 4-5hr journey through fairly rugged bush. You can also find picnic tables, there are toilets, well a toilet attached to a very deep hole with no flushing water (you are in the bush after all) You will see amazing views of the valley, pic...turesque waterway, spectacular waterfall and there are even 2 swimming holes one of them comes complete with waterfall. If you want to stay overnight there are unpowered camp sites aswell. All this just over an hour's drive from Picton, approx 10mins from Robertson in southern highlands. While you are there, why not visit the illawarra fly (not open miweek) or grab a pie from the famous Robertson Pie Shop or even a cold icecream from the cheese factory. See more

11.01.2022 WANTING TO KNOW WHERE YOU CAN TRAVEL TO? Then keep reading! Anyone who has spent time in these areas in the 14 days prior will be denied entry. Wollondilly, Camden and Campbelltown are currently on this list. ACT - No restrictions except for anyone who has been in Victoria in the 14days prior to arrival in ACT. If you are from a listed hotspot in NSW it is preferred that you don't travel to ACT but there are currently no checks in place (Camden LGA is currently on this list) TASMANIA - Currently open to anyone from ACT, NT, QLD, SA, WA and NZ. From November 6, this will also include NSW. If you are coming from Victoria, you are required to quarantine for 14days. NORTHERN TERRITORY - open to all Australian residents. 07.01.2022 Small changes are happening!!!! SOUTH AUSTRALIA is now back open. So if you are thinking of making South Australia your next holiday destination and if you are brave enough and have a penchant for sharks, why not try Shark Cage Diving. Port Lincoln is approx 6hrs west of Adelaide and it is here you will find Calypso Star Charters, the only Shark Cage Diving company licensed to use natural fish berley to attract the Great Whites. If Great White Sharks aren't your thing but th...e extremely cute Sea Lions are, then maybe you could do a "swim with the sea lions tour" instead.
