25.01.2022 Coronavirus Kilmore FGA Suspended Shoots Hello all, As you are aware, the COVID-19 situation continues to develop and there were a number of announcements over the weekend and early this week that impact us in our home, work lives and recreational activities.... Firstly thank you for those committee members who gave feedback on their thoughts for moving ahead in terms of conducting future shoots for Kilmore FGA. With the restrictions placed on us at a Federal and State level coupled with Field & Game Australia guidelines, we feel that it would make it virtually impossible to run our shoots. Also the possibility of being inundated with increased numbers of shooters and given the sacrifices many others in the community are making it would be pretty selfish to run a shoot. The risks involved outweigh the rewards. This was also the overwhelming consensus from the committee. So a decision has been made to suspend all future shoots and committee meetings until further notice. I know that this decision may not sit well with a few people but we all must do what we can to limit the spread of the virus for the greater community good. We all have a responsibility to protect each other. Finally, in what is continuing to be a stressful year I wish everyone and their family the best of luck during this difficult time. 13.01.2022 The club would like to announce some sad news: the passing last Thursday (13 July) of a long-time member, Robert Hay, aged 80. Everyone who knew him respected him and enjoyed his company. A kind and generous man, he nurtured interest in shooting within his family and with anyone who shot with him and wanted some help. He will be sorely missed. The club and members express their heartfelt condolences to Bobs family and friends. A service will be held on Friday, 21 July 2017 at White Lady Funerals, 25 Cooper Street EPPING 3076 at 10:00 am.

10.01.2022 The club would like to announce some very sad news: the untimely passing of Shaun Burns. Shaun was a valued sponsor, tireless worker in all facets of club operations (ground setting, setup pack-up etc.) and good friend to many at the club and around the traps at many clubs. He will be sorely missed, and hereafter our September shoots will be the "Shaun Burns Memorial". The club sends condolences to the family and friends of Shaun at this sad and difficult time. RIP Shaun.

While som...e are already keen shooters for others it was their first experience with a firearm and of clay target shooting. 08.01.2022 This coming Saturday 28th Jan GRAND OPENING of the new Geelong Field and Game shooting ground.... Situated within 20 minutes of Geelong CBD and less than 30 minutes from Melbourne. On the day we will have something for everyone. *75 target novelty Simulated Field shoot. *75 target 3 person team Crazy Quail. *Practice trap. *Food and drinks. *Raffle. *Jumping Castle for the kids. Bring along your friends and family. The weather looks like being in the high 20s. If by some chance a Total Fire Ban is declared we will unfortunately have to cancel. We will be showcasing our full range of brand new MEC traps including the sensational Crazy Quail machine. We can offer coaching and advice to novice shooters at the practice trap. You dont have to be a shooter to come along and be part of this Momentus event. We will also have club merchandise available and information about the opening of the Connewarre Wetland Centre Feb 5 and will be taking booking for our upcoming WIT training and test sessions. Please come along and support the tremendous effort and years of work that has gone in to getting Geelong Field and Game shooting again!

04.01.2022 The 15th annual MP clay target shoot. One of the highlights of the year is the chance to compete against the other political parties in the annual "Pollie Shoot...". Whist The Nats including Steph Ryan for Euroa, Danny OBrien MP, Emma Bone and Fowles Wine didnt win this year we will be back next year and we will do some practice next time.
